The spring still runs on the Kidron slope, inside an excavated complex of Canaanite towers. Two channels lead off from it: Hezekiah’s tunnel, 533 m cut through the rock and waded knee-deep, and the dry Canaanite channel. The tunnel comes out at the Pool of Siloam.
