Coordinates and the modern identification come from the open atlas at OpenBible.info. For regions, peoples and large features there is no identification: the marked point only places the area on the map, and stands for neither a particular site nor its boundaries.

Can you visit it today?

Nein is now a small village on the northern slope of the Hill of Moreh. There is a modest Franciscan church of 1880 over Byzantine and Crusader remains; the ancient town is unexcavated. From the doorway you can see the slope the funeral procession would have come down.

Where it is
About 10 km south-east of Nazareth, on the northern edge of the Jezreel valley.
