1El número de los hijos de Israel con arreglo a las cabezas de sus casas paternas, los jefes de miles y de cientos, y los magistrados que servían al rey en todo lo tocante a las formaciones militares, relevándose todos los meses del año, era de veinte y cuatro mil hombres para cada división. Now the sons of Israel, according to their number, the leaders of the families, the tribunes, and the centurions, and the chiefs, who were ministering to the king by their companies, entering and departing in each month of the year as they were in charge, were twenty-four thousand.2Al frente de la primera división, que era la del primer mes, estaba Jasobeam, hijo de Zabdiel; en su división había veinte y cuatro mil. Jashobeam, the son of Zabdiel, was in charge of the first company in the first month; and under him were twenty-four thousand.3Él era de los hijos de Fares, y mandaba a todos los jefes de los ejércitos del primer mes.
