1Entonces la palabra de Yahvé fue dirigida a Jehú, hijo de Hananí, contra Baasá, en estos términos: Then the word of the Lord came to Jehu, the son of Hanani, against Baasha, saying:2“Yo te levanté del polvo, y te he hecho caudillo de Israel, mi pueblo, pero tú has andado en el camino de Jeroboam y has hecho pecar a mi pueblo Israel, provocándome a ira con sus pecados. “Even though I exalted you from the dust, and I set you as ruler over my people Israel, still you have walked in the way of Jeroboam, and you have caused my people Israel to sin, so that you have provoked me by their sins.3Por eso he aquí que voy a barrer la posteridad de Baasá y la posteridad de su casa, y haré tu casa como la casa de Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat.
