1Amós, proveed a los que os sirvan, de lo que es según la justicia e igualdad, sabiendo que también vosotros tenéis un Amo en el cielo. You masters, supply your servants with what is just and equitable, knowing that you, too, have a Master in heaven.2Perseverad en la oración, velando en ella y en la acción de gracias, Pursue prayer. Be watchful in prayer with acts of thanksgiving.3orando al mismo tiempo también por nosotros, para que Dios nos abra una puerta para la palabra, a fin de anunciar el misterio de Cristo, por el cual me hallo preso, Pray together, for us also, so that God may open a door of speech to us, so as to speak the mystery of Christ, (because of which, even now, I am in chains)4para que lo manifieste hablando como debo. so that I may manifest it in the manner that I ought to speak.5Comportaos prudentemente con los de afuera; aprovechad bien el tiempo. Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming this age.6Sea vuestro hablar siempre con buen modo, sazonado con sal, de manera que sepáis cómo debéis responder a cada uno. Let your speech be ever graceful, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to respond to each person.7En cuanto a mi persona, de todo os informará Tíquico, el amado hermano y fiel ministro y consiervo en el Señor; As for the things that concern me, Tychicus, a most beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord, will make everything known to you.8a quien he enviado a vosotros con este mismo fin, para que conozcáis mi situación y para que él conforte vuestros corazones, I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that he may know the things that concern you, and may console your hearts,9juntamente con Onésimo, el hermano fiel y amado, que es de entre vosotros. Ellos os informarán de todo lo que pasa aquí. with Onesimus, a most beloved and faithful brother, who is from among you. They shall make known to you everything that is happening here.10Os saluda Aristarco, mi compañero de cautiverio, y Marcos, primo de Bernabé, respecto del cual ya recibisteis avisos —si fuere a vosotros, recibidle— Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, as does Mark, the near cousin of Barnabas, about whom you have received instructions, (if he comes to you, receive him)11y Jesús, llamado Justo. De la circuncisión son estos los únicos que colaboran conmigo en el reino de Dios, y han sido para mí un consuelo. and Jesus, who is called Justus, and those who are of the circumcision. These alone are my assistants, unto the kingdom of God; they have been a consolation to me.12Os saluda Epafras, que es uno de vosotros, siervo de Cristo Jesús, el cual lucha siempre a favor vuestro en sus oraciones, para que perseveréis perfectos y cumpláis plenamente toda voluntad de Dios. Epaphras greets you, who is from among you, a servant of Christ Jesus, ever solicitous for you in prayer, so that you may stand, perfect and complete, in the entire will of God.13Le doy testimonio de que se afana mucho por vosotros y por los de Laodicea y los de Hierápolis. For I offer testimony to him, that he has labored greatly for you, and for those who are at Laodicea, and for those at Hierapolis.14Os saluda Lucas, el médico amado, y Demas. Luke, a most beloved physician, greets you, as does Demas.15Saludad a los hermanos de Laodicea, a Ninfas, y a la Iglesia que está en su casa. And when this epistle has been read among you, cause it to be read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and you should read that which is from the Laodiceans.17Y a Arquipo decidle: “Atiende al ministerio que has recibido en el Señor para que lo cumplas. And tell Archippus: “See to the ministry that you have received in the Lord, in order to fulfill it.”18El saludo es de mi mano, Pablo. Acordaos de mis cadenas. La gracia sea con vosotros”.
