Deuteronomio 34
1Subió Moisés desde las campiñas de Moab al monte Nebo, a la cumbre del Fasga, que está frente a Jericó; y Yahvé le mostró el país entero: de Galaad hasta Dan, Therefore, Moses ascended from the plains of Moab onto Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, opposite Jericho. And the Lord revealed to him the entire land of Gilead, as far as Dan,2y todo Neftalí, y la tierra de Efraím y de Manasés, y toda la tierra de Judá, hasta el mar occidental; and all of Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and the entire land of Judah, even to the furthest sea,3el Négueb, y la vega del valle de Jericó, ciudad de las palmas, hasta Segor. and the southern region, and the breadth of the plain of Jericho, the city of palms, as far as Zoar.4Y le dijo Yahvé: “Esta es la tierra respecto de la cual juré a Abrahán, a Isaac y a Jacob, diciendo: A tu descendencia se la daré. Te la hago ver con tus ojos, mas no entrarás en ella.” And the Lord said to him: “This is the land, about which I swore to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying: I will give it to your offspring. You have seen it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over to it.”5Allí murió Moisés, siervo de Yahvé en el país de Moab, según había dispuesto Yahvé. And Moses, the servant of the Lord, died in that place, in the land of Moab, by order of the Lord.6Y Él lo enterró en un valle en el país de Moab, frente a Bet-Fegor; y nadie hasta hoy ha sabido su sepulcro. And he buried him in the valley of the land of Moab, opposite Peor. And no man knows where his sepulcher is, even to the present day.7Tenía Moisés ciento y veinte años cuando murió; y no se había ofuscado su ojo, ni se había perdido su vigor. Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eye was not dimmed, nor were his teeth displaced.8Los hijos de Israel lloraron a Moisés en las campiñas de Moab durante treinta días; y así se cumplieron los días de llanto en el duelo por Moisés. And the sons of Israel wept for him in the plains of Moab for thirty days. And then the days of their wailing, during which they mourned Moses, were completed.9Josué, hijo de Nun, estaba lleno del espíritu de sabiduría, porque Moisés había puesto sus manos sobre él.
