1“Harás también un Altar para quemar el incienso. De madera de acacia lo harás. “You shall also make an altar, for the burning of incense, from setim wood,2Será cuadrado: de un codo de largo y de un codo de ancho, y su altura será de dos codos. Sus cuernos formarán un mismo cuerpo con él. having one cubit in length, and another in width, that is, four equal sides, and two cubits in height. Horns shall proceed from the same.3Lo revestirás de oro puro, tanto su parte superior como sus cuatro lados, y sus cuernos. Le harás en torno una guirnalda de oro, And you shall clothe it with the purest gold, both its grating and the walls around it, and also the horns. And you shall make for it a crown of gold in a circle,4y debajo de la guirnalda, a los costados, dos anillos. Hazlos a ambos lados, para pasar por ellas las varas con que transportarlo. and two gold rings under the crown on each side, so that the bars may be set in them and the altar may be carried.5Fabricarás las varas tomando madera de acacia y las recubrirás de oro. You shall not offer upon it incense of another composition, nor an oblation, nor a victim; neither shall you offer libations.10Una vez al año hará Aarón expiación sobre los cuernos de este altar con la sangre del sacrificio por el pecado. Una vez cada año hará sobre él expiación para vuestros descendientes. Cosa santísima es esta para Yahvé.” And Aaron shall pray over its horns once a year, with the blood of what was offered for sin. And he shall make atonement over it in your generations. It shall be the Holy of holies to the Lord.”11Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:12“Cuando contares el número de los hijos de Israel, para hacer su censo, cada uno de ellos pagará a Yahvé un rescate por su vida al ser empadronados, para que no haya plaga entre ellos con motivo del empadronamiento. “When you have taken the sum of the sons of Israel, according to their number, each shall give a price for their souls to the Lord, and there will be no scourge among them, when they will be reviewed.13Esto es lo que ha de dar cada uno de los empadronados: medio siclo, según el peso del Santuario. Un siclo son veinte gueras. Medio siclo es, pues, el tributo que se ha de dar a Yahvé. Then all those who pass shall give by name: one half shekel, according to the measure at the temple. A shekel has twenty obols. The half part of a shekel shall be offered to the Lord.14Todos los empadronados, de veinte años para arriba, pagarán el tributo a Yahvé. He who has been numbered from twenty years and above shall give the price.15El rico no dará más, ni el pobre menos del medio siclo, al pagar el tributo a Yahvé como rescate de vuestras vidas. The rich shall not add to the half shekel, and the poor shall diminish nothing.16Tomarás el dinero del rescate de parte de los hijos de Israel, para emplearlo en el servicio del Tabernáculo de la Reunión; y será para los hijos de Israel un recuerdo ante Yahvé para el rescate de sus vidas.” And the money received, which was collected from the sons of Israel, you shall deliver for the uses of the tabernacle of the testimony, so that it may be a memorial of them before the Lord, and he may act favorably toward their souls.”17Habló Yahvé a Moisés diciendo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:18“Haz una pila de bronce con su base de bronce para las abluciones. Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and feet in it:20Antes de entrar en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión se han de lavar con agua para que no mueran, y también antes de acercarse al altar para el ministerio, para quemar un sacrificio en honor de Yahvé. when they enter the tabernacle of the testimony, and when they approach to the altar so as to offer incense to the Lord upon it,21Se lavarán las manos y los pies, para que no mueran. Esta será ley perpetua para ellos, para Aarón y sus descendientes de generación en generación.” otherwise, they may die. This shall be an everlasting law to him, and to his offspring, throughout their successions.”22Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: And the Lord spoke to Moses,23“Y tú, toma de los mejores aromas de mirra pura quinientos (siclos); de canela aromática la mitad de esto, o sea doscientos cincuenta, de caña aromática doscientos cincuenta, saying: “Take for yourself aromatics: of the first and best myrrh, five hundred shekels, and of cinnamon half as much, that is, two hundred and fifty shekels; of sweet flag similarly two hundred and fifty,24de casia quinientos, según el siclo del Santuario, y un hin de aceite de olivas. but of cassia, five hundred shekels by the weight of the sanctuary, and of the oil of olives the measure of a hin.25Con ello formarás el óleo para la unción sagrada, perfume oloroso compuesto según el arte de perfumería. And you shall make the holy oil of unction, an ointment composed with the skills of a perfumer,26Con él ungirás el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y el Arca del Testimonio, and with it you shall anoint the tabernacle of the testimony, and the ark of the testament,27la mesa con todos sus utensilios, el candelabro con todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso, and the table with its vessels, and the lampstand and its utensils, the altars of incense28el altar del holocausto con todos sus utensilios y la pila con su base. and of holocaust, and all the items that pertain to their rituals.29Así los santificarás y serán cosa santísima. Todo el que los toque quedará santificado. And you shall sanctify everything, and they shall be the Holy of holies. He who will touch them must be sanctified.30Ungirás también a Aarón y a sus hijos y los consagrarás, para que me sirvan de sacerdotes.” You shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and you shall sanctify them, so that they may exercise the priesthood for me.31Y hablarás a los hijos de Israel, diciendo: “Este será para Mí el óleo de la unción sagrada de generación en generación. Likewise, you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘This oil of unction will be holy to me throughout your generations.32No debe derramarse sobre ningún hombre, y en cuanto a su composición no haréis ninguno parecido a él. Santo es y lo tendréis por cosa sagrada. The flesh of man shall not be anointed from it, and you shall not make any similar compound, for it has been sanctified and it shall be holy to you.33Cualquiera que elabore algo semejante o derrame de él sobre persona extraña será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo.” Whatever man will have composed such a thing and have given it to a stranger, he shall be exterminated from his people.’ ”34Dijo Yahvé a Moisés: “Toma por cantidades iguales los siguientes aromas: resina, uña odorífera y gálbano, especias aromáticas e incienso puro. And the Lord said to Moses: “Take to yourself aromatics: stacte, and onycha, galbanum of sweet odor, and the clearest frankincense, all these shall be of equal weight.35Con ello harás, según el arte de perfumería, un incienso perfumado, sazonado con sal, puro y santo; And you shall make incense composed with the skills of a perfumer, diligently mixed, and pure, and most worthy of sanctification.36del cual pulverizarás una parte que pondrás delante del Testimonio en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, donde Yo me entrevistaré contigo. Será para vosotros cosa santísima. And when you have crushed all these into a very fine powder, you shall place some of it before the tabernacle of the testimony, in the place where I will appear to you. The Holy of holies shall this incense be to you.37Y en cuanto a la composición de este incienso que vas a hacer, no la imitéis para vuestro uso. Lo tendrás por consagrado a Yahvé. You shall not make such a compound for your own uses, because it is holy to the Lord.38Cualquiera que prepare otro semejante para aspirar su fragancia, será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo.” Whatever man will have made anything similar, so as to thoroughly enjoy its smell, he shall perish from his people.”
