1Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:2“Mira que he llamado por su nombre a Besalel, hijo de Urí, hijo de Hur, de la tribu de Judá; “Behold, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,3y le he llenado de espíritu divino, de sabiduría, inteligencia y maestría en toda clase de trabajos. and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge in every craft,4Para inventar diseños y labrar el oro, la plata y el bronce; in order to design whatever must be fabricated from gold, and silver, and brass,5para grabar piedras de engaste, para tallar la madera y ejecutar cualquier otra obra. from marble, and precious stones, and various woods.6Y mira que le he dado por compañero a Oholiab, hijo de Ahisamac, de la tribu de Dan; y además he infundido sabiduría en el corazón de todos los hombres hábiles, para que hagan todo lo que te he mandado: And I have given to him, as his associate, Oholiab the son of Ahisamach, from the tribe of Dan. All the things that I have instructed you, they shall make.”12Habló Yahvé a Moisés y dijo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:13“Di a los hijos de Israel: Mirad que guardéis mis sábados; porque el sábado es una señal entre Mí y vosotros, de generación en generación, para que sepáis que Yo, Yahvé soy quien os santifico. “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: See that you keep my Sabbath. For it is a sign between me and you among your generations, so that you may know that I am the Lord, who sanctifies you.14Guardad el sábado, porque es santo para vosotros. El que lo profane morirá irremisiblemente. Todo el que trabajare en él, será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo. Keep my Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Whoever will have polluted it, shall die a death. Whoever will have done any work in it, his soul shall perish from the midst of his people.15Seis días se trabajará; mas el día séptimo será día de descanso completo, consagrado a Yahvé. Todo aquel que trabaje en sábado, morirá irremisiblemente. For six days you shall do work. On the seventh day, it is the Sabbath, a rest sanctified by the Lord. All who will have done work on this day shall die.16Los hijos de Israel observarán el sábado como pacto perpetuo celebrándolo de generación en generación. Let the sons of Israel keep the Sabbath, and let them celebrate it throughout their generations. It is an everlasting covenant17Será entre Mí y los hijos de Israel una señal perpetua; pues en seis días hizo Yahvé el cielo y la tierra, y el día séptimo descansó y reposó.” between me and the sons of Israel, and a perpetual sign. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and in the seventh he ceased from work.”18Después de hablar Dios con Moisés en el monte Sinaí, le dio las dos tablas del Testimonio; tablas de piedra, escritas por el dedo de Dios. And the Lord, having completed speaking in this way on Mount Sinai, gave to Moses two stone tablets of testimony, written with the finger of God.
