1Habló Yahvé a Moisés y dijo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:2“El día primero del primer mes erigirás la Morada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión. “In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall raise the tabernacle of the testimony,3Pondrás allí el Arca del Testimonio y cubrirás el Arca con el velo. and you shall place the ark in it, and you shall release the veil before it.4Introducirás la mesa y dispondrás lo que hay que poner sobre ella; colocarás también el candelabro y ubicarás en él las lámparas. And having brought in the table, you shall place the things which were solemnly commanded upon it. The lampstand shall stand with its lamps,5Erigirás el altar de oro para el incienso delante del Arca del Testimonio y pondrás la cortina a la entrada del Tabernáculo. and the altar of gold, in which the incense is burned, shall stand before the ark of the testimony. You shall place the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle,6Colocarás el altar de los holocaustos delante de la entrada de la Morada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión. and before it, the altar of holocaust.7Pondrás la pila entre el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y el altar, y echarás agua en ella, The washtub shall stand between the altar and the tabernacle, and you shall fill it with water.8levantarás el atrio en derredor y tenderás la cortina a la entrada del atrio. And you shall encompass the atrium and its entrance with hangings.9Y tomarás el óleo de la unción y ungirás la Morada y todo lo que hay en ella. La consagrarás con todos sus utensilios para que sea santa. And, having taken up the oil of unction, you shall anoint the tabernacle along with its articles, so that they may be sanctified.10Ungirás también el altar de los holocaustos con todos sus utensilios. Consagrarás el altar, y el altar será cosa santísima. The altar of holocaust and all its vessels,11Asimismo ungirás la pila y su base, y la consagrarás. the washtub with its base, and all things, you shall consecrate with the oil of unction, so that they may be the Holy of holies.12Después dispondrás que Aarón y sus hijos se presenten a la entrada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión y los lavarás con agua. And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony, and, having washed them with water,13Y vestirás a Aarón con las vestiduras sagradas, le ungirás y le consagrarás para que me sirva de sacerdote. you shall clothe them in the holy vestments, so that they may minister to me, and so that their unction may accomplish an everlasting priesthood.”14Harás también que se presenten sus hijos; los vestirás con túnicas And Moses did all that the Lord had instructed.15y los ungirás, como ungiste a su padre, para que me sirvan de sacerdotes. Su unción les conferirá el sacerdocio sempiterno entre sus descendientes.” Therefore, in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was put in place.16Hizo Moisés conforme a todo lo que Yahvé le había mandado. Así lo hizo. And Moses raised it up, and he positioned the panels as well as the bases and the bars, and he set up the columns,17En el primer mes del año segundo, el día primero del mes, fue erigida la Morada. and he stretched out the roof over the tabernacle, imposing a cover above it, just as the Lord had decreed.18Moisés alzó la Morada, asentó sus basas, colocó sus tablones, metió sus travesaños y erigió sus columnas. And he placed the testimony in the ark, applying the bars beneath, and the oracle above.19Después extendió el Tabernáculo por encima de la Morada y puso sobre ella, por la parte de arriba, la cubierta del Tabernáculo, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés. And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, in order to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.20Luego tomó el Testimonio y lo depositó dentro del Arca; acomodó las varas al Arca y asentó sobre ella el propiciatorio. And he placed the table in the tabernacle of the testimony, at the north side, beyond the veil,21Metió el Arca en la Morada, colgó la cortina del velo y ocultó el Arca del Testimonio, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés. arranging before it the bread of the presence, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.22Colocó también la mesa en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, al lado septentrional de la Morada, fuera del velo. And he placed the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, away from the table, on the south side,23Y dispuso sobre ella los panes delante de Yahvé, así como Yahvé ordenara a Moisés. setting the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.24Luego instaló el candelabro en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, frente a la mesa, en el lado meridional de la Morada, He also positioned the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony, opposite the veil,25y colocó las lámparas delante de Yahvé, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés. and he heaped upon it the incense of aromatics, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.26Asimismo erigió el altar de oro en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, delante del velo; And he positioned the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony,27y quemó sobre él incienso aromático, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés. and the altar of holocaust in the vestibule of the testimony, offering the holocaust and the sacrifices upon it, just as the Lord had decreed.28Tendió la cortina a la entrada de la Morada, Likewise, he stationed the washtub between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.29y colocó también el altar de los holocaustos a la entrada de la Morada del Tabernáculo de la Reunión; y ofreció sobre él el holocausto y la ofrenda, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés. And Moses and Aaron, along with his sons, washed their hands and feet,30La pila la colocó entre el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y el altar, y echó en ella agua para las abluciones; whenever they would enter the covering of the covenant, and when they approached to the altar, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.31y Moisés y Aarón y los hijos de este se lavaron en ella sus manos y sus pies. And he raised up the atrium around the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging at its entrance. After all these things were perfected,32Siempre que entraban en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, y siempre que se acercaban al altar, se lavaban, como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés. the cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.33Por fin erigió el atrio alrededor de la Morada y del altar, y puso la cortina a la puerta del atrio. Así acabó Moisés la obra. Neither could Moses enter the covering of the covenant: the cloud was covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord was flashing. For the cloud had covered everything.34Entonces la nube cubrió el Tabernáculo de la Reunión y la gloria de Yahvé llenó la Morada, Whenever the cloud departed from the tabernacle, the sons of Israel set out by their companies.35de modo que Moisés no pudo entrar en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, pues la nube descansaba sobre este, y la gloria de Yahvé llenaba la Morada. But if it remained hanging over it, they remained in the same place.36En todas sus marchas los hijos de Israel levantaban el campamento cuando la nube se alzaba de encima de la Morada. Y si la nube no se levantaba, no marchaban, hasta el día en que se levantaba. Porque durante el día estaba sobre la Morada la nube de Yahvé, en la cual durante la noche había fuego, viéndolo toda la casa de Israel en todas sus marchas. Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.
