Ezequiel 10
1Miré y vi que en el firmamento que estaba sobre las cabezas de los Querubines, apareció una como piedra de zafiro, que figuraba sobre ellos a manera de un trono. And I saw, and behold, in the firmament that was over the heads of the cherubim, there appeared above them something like the sapphire stone, with the sight of the likeness of a throne.2Y habló Él al varón vestido de lino, diciendo: “Métete por entre las ruedas, por debajo del Querubín, y llena tus manos de brasas de fuego de entre los Querubines, y espárcelas sobre la ciudad.” Y él fue a vista mía. And he spoke to the man who was clothed with linen, and he said: “Enter, between the wheels that are under the cherubim, and fill your hand with the coals of fire that are between the cherubim, and pour them upon the city.” And he entered, in my sight.3Los Querubines estaban de pie a la derecha de la Casa cuando fue aquel varón; y la nube llenaba el atrio interior. Now the cherubim were standing before the right side of the house, when the man entered. And a cloud filled the inner court.4Entonces la gloria de Yahvé se elevó de encima de los Querubines y (se trasladó) al umbral de la Casa, la cual se llenó de la nube, y el atrio se hinchó del resplandor de la gloria de Yahvé. And the glory of the Lord was lifted up, from above the cherubim, to the threshold of the house. And the house was filled with the cloud. And the court was filled with the splendor of the glory of the Lord.5El ruido de las alas de los Querubines se oía hasta el atrio exterior, a manera de la voz del Dios Todopoderoso cuando habla. And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even in the outer court, like the voice of Almighty God speaking.6Luego que Él hubo mandado al varón vestido de lino, diciendo: “Saca fuego de entre las ruedas, de en medio de los Querubines”, entró aquel y se paró junto a una rueda. And when he had instructed the man who was clothed with linen, saying, “Take fire from the midst of the wheels that are between the cherubim,” he entered and stood next to the wheel.7Y un Querubín alargó su mano de en medio de los Querubines, hacia el fuego que se hallaba entre los Querubines, tomó (de él) y lo puso en las manos del que estaba vestido de lino; el cual lo tomó y se marchó. And one cherub extended his hand, from the midst of the cherubim, to the fire that was between the cherubim. And he took and gave it into the hands of the one who was clothed with linen, and he accepted it and went forth.8Se mostró entonces que los Querubines tenían algo como brazos de hombre, bajo sus alas. And there appeared amid the cherubim the likeness of the hand of a man, under their wings.9Y miré, y he aquí que había cuatro ruedas junto a los Querubines, una rueda al lado de cada Querubín; y el aspecto de las ruedas era semejante al resplandor de la piedra de Tarsis. And I saw, and behold, there were four wheels beside the cherubim. One wheel was next to one cherub, and another wheel was next to another cherub. And the appearance of the wheels was like the sight of the chrysolite stone.10En cuanto a su forma, las cuatro tenían una misma estructura, como si una rueda estuviese atravesando a otra rueda. And in their appearance, each one of the four were similar, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.11Cuando se movían, iban hacia sus cuatro lados; no mudaban de frente cuando caminaban, pues hacia la parte adonde se dirigían sus cabezas, allí andaban, de modo que no tenían que mudar de frente cuando caminaban. And when they went, they advanced in four parts. And they did not turn as they went. Instead, to the place to which they were inclined to go at first, the rest also followed, and they did not turn back.12Todo su cuerpo, sus espaldas, sus manos y sus alas estaban llenos de ojos y también las ruedas en toda la superficie de las cuatro ruedas. And their entire body, with their necks and their hands and their wings and the circles, were full of eyes all around the four wheels.13Y oí que las ruedas tenían el nombre de “volubles”. And in my hearing, he called these wheels: “constantly changing.”14Cada uno (de los Querubines) tenía cuatro caras: la primera cara era cara de Querub, la segunda, cara de hombre, la tercera, cara de león, y la cuarta, cara de águila. Now each one had four faces. One face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and in the third was the face of a lion, and in the fourth was the face of an eagle.15Y se levantaron los Querubines. Eran los mismos seres vivientes que yo había visto junto al río Cobar. And the cherubim were lifted up. This is the living creature, which I had seen beside the river Chebar.16Al caminar los Querubines, caminaban también las ruedas a su lado, y cuando los Querubines levantaban sus alas para remontarse de la tierra, las ruedas no se apartaban de ellos. And when the cherubim advanced, the wheels also went beside them. And when the cherubim lifted up their wings in order to be raised up from the earth, the wheels did not remain behind, but they also were beside them.17Cuando se detenían aquellos, se detenían también estas, y al levantarse aquellos, se levantaban estas con ellos, porque el espíritu del ser viviente estaba en ellas. When they were standing, these stood still. And when they were lifted up, these were lifted up. For the spirit of life was in them.18Entonces la gloria de Yahvé partió del umbral de la Casa y se puso encima de los Querubines. And the glory of the Lord went forth from the threshold of the temple, and stood above the cherubim.19Y alzando los Querubines sus alas, se remontaron del suelo, a mi vista, y salieron con las ruedas a su lado. Se detuvieron a la entrada de la puerta oriental de la Casa de Yahvé, y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba sobre ellos. And the cherubim, lifting up their wings, were raised up from the earth in my sight. And as they went away, the wheels also followed. And it stood at the entrance to the east gate of the house of the Lord. And the glory of the God of Israel was over them.20Eran los mismos seres vivientes que yo había visto debajo del Dios de Israel junto al río Cobar; y comprendí que eran Querubines. This is the living creature, which I saw under the God of Israel beside the river Chebar. And I understood that they were cherubim.21Cada uno tenía cuatro caras, y cada uno tenía cuatro alas; y debajo de sus alas tenían algo como una mano de hombre. Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings. And the likeness of the hand of a man was under their wings.22Y era la figura de sus caras como las caras que yo había visto junto al río Cobar; tenían el mismo aspecto eran los mismos. Cada uno se movía según la dirección de su cara. And, concerning the appearance of their faces, these were the same faces that I had seen beside the river Chebar, and the gaze and force of each one of them was to go before his face.
