Ezequiel 11
1Me arrebató el Espíritu y me llevó a la puerta oriental de la Casa de Yahvé, que mira hacia el oriente; y he aquí, a la entrada de la puerta, veinte y cinco hombres; y vi en medio de ellos a Jezonías, hijo de Azur, y a Feltías hijo de Banaías, príncipes del pueblo. And the Spirit lifted me up, and he brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord, which looks toward the rising of the sun. And behold, at the entrance to the gate were twenty-five men. And I saw, in their midst, Jaazaniah, the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, leaders of the people.2Y me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, estos son los hombres que urden maldades y dan perversos consejos en esta ciudad. And he said to me: “Son of man, these are men who devise iniquity. And they offer a wicked counsel in this city,3Estos son los que dicen «¿Acaso no han sido construidas poco ha, casas? Esta (ciudad) es la olla, y nosotros somos la carne.»” saying: ‘Was it so long ago that houses were being built? This city is a cooking pot, and we are the meat.’4Por eso profetiza contra ellos; profetiza, hijo de hombre. Therefore, prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.”5Y vino sobre mí el Espíritu de Yahvé, y me dijo: “Habla. Así dice Yahvé: De esta manera habéis hablado, oh casa de Israel, pero Yo conozco lo que pensáis en vuestro corazón. And the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me, and he said to me: “Speak: Thus says the Lord: So have you spoken, O house of Israel. And I know the thoughts of your heart.6Habéis multiplicado los muertos en esta ciudad y llenado de cadáveres sus calles. You have killed very many in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain.7Por eso así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Vuestros muertos que habéis dejado en medio de ella, ellos son la carne, y ella es la olla. Pero Yo os sacaré de en medio de ella. Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Your slain, whom you have placed in its midst, these are the meat, and this city is the cooking pot. And I will draw you out of its midst.8Teméis la espada, por eso haré venir sobre vosotros la espada, dice Yahvé, el Señor. You have dread the sword, and so I will lead the sword over you, says the Lord God.9Os sacaré fuera de ella, y os entregaré en manos de los extranjeros, y ejerceré entre vosotros la justicia. And I will cast you out of its midst, and I will give you over to the hand of the enemies, and I will execute judgments among you.10Al filo de la espada caeréis; en los confines de Israel os juzgaré y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé. You will fall by the sword. I will judge you within the borders of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord.11Esta (ciudad) no será vuestra olla, ni vosotros seréis la carne en medio de ella. En el territorio de Israel voy a juzgaros. This city will not be a cooking pot for you, and you will not be like meat in its midst. I will judge you within the borders of Israel.12Y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé cuyos preceptos vosotros no habéis observado ni cumplido sus leyes; al contrario, habéis seguido las costumbres de las naciones que os rodean.” And you shall know that I am the Lord. For you have not walked in my precepts, and you have not accomplished my judgments. Instead, you have acted in accord with the judgments of the Gentiles, who are all around you.”13Estaba yo aún vaticinando cuando murió Feltías, hijo de Banaías; y caí sobre mi rostro, y clamé con voz fuerte, diciendo: “¡Ay, Yahvé, Señor! ¿Tú vas a acabar con el resto de Israel?” And it happened that, when I prophesied, Pelatiah, the son of Benaiah, died. And I fell upon my face, and I cried out with a loud voice, and I said: “Alas, alas, alas, O Lord God! Will you cause the consummation of the remnant of Israel?”14Me fue dirigida la palabra de Yahvé, que dijo: And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:15“Hijo de hombre, tus hermanos, sí, tus hermanos, tus parientes más cercanos, y toda la casa de Israel, estos son aquellos a quienes dicen los habitantes de Jerusalén: «Alejaos de Yahvé; a nosotros nos ha sido dada en posesión esta tierra.» “Son of man, your brothers, the men among your close relatives, your brothers and the entire house of Israel, are all among those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said: ‘Withdraw far from the Lord; the earth has been given to us as a possession.’16Por eso has de anunciar: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Aunque los he llevado lejos, entre las naciones, y aunque los he dispersado por los países, Yo mismo les serviré, por un breve tiempo, de santuario en medio de los territorios adonde se han ido. Because of this, thus says the Lord God: Since I have caused them to be far away, among the Gentiles, and since I have dispersed them among the lands, I will be a little sanctuary for them within the lands to which they have gone.17Vaticina, pues: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Yo os reuniré de entre los pueblos, y os recogeré de entre los países en los cuales habéis sido dispersados, y os daré la tierra de Israel. Because of this, say to them: Thus says the Lord God: I will gather you from among the peoples, and I will unite you, from the lands into which you were dispersed, and I will give the soil of Israel to you.18Volverán allá, y quitarán de ella todos sus ídolos y todas sus abominaciones. And they shall go to that place, and they shall remove all the offenses and all its abominations from that place.19Yo les daré un mismo sentir, y pondré en sus corazones un nuevo espíritu; quitaré el corazón de piedra de en medio de su carne y les daré un corazón de carne; And I will give them one heart. And I will distribute a new spirit to their interior. And I will take away the heart of stone from their body. And I will give them a heart of flesh.20para que observen mis preceptos, y guarden mis leyes y las practiquen; y serán ellos mi pueblo, y Yo seré su Dios. So may they may walk in my precepts, and observe my judgments, and accomplish them. And so may they be my people, and I will be their God.21Pero a aquellos, cuyo corazón sigue los deseos de sus ídolos y abominaciones, les echaré sus obras sobre su cabeza, dice Yahvé, el Señor But as for those whose heart walks after their offenses and abominations, I will set their own way upon their head, says the Lord God.”22Entonces los Querubines alzaron sus alas y los siguieron las ruedas; y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba por encima de ellos. And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels with them. And the glory of the God of Israel was above them.23La gloria de Yahvé se elevó (retirándose) de la ciudad, y se paró sobre el monte que está al oriente de la ciudad. And the glory of the Lord ascended from the midst of the city and stood above the mountain, which is to the east of the city.24Luego me alzó el Espíritu y me llevó en visión, en espíritu de Dios, a Caldea donde estaban los cautivos. Y desapareció de mí la visión que había tenido. And the Spirit lifted me up, and he brought me into Chaldea, to those of the transmigration, in a vision, in the Spirit of God. And the vision that I had seen was raised up, away from me.25Después dije a los cautivos todo lo que Yahvé me había manifestado. And I spoke, to those of the transmigration, all the words of the Lord that he had revealed to me.
