Ezequiel 37
1Vino sobre mí la mano de Yahvé: Yahvé me sacó fuera en espíritu, y me colocó en medio de la llanura, la cual estaba llena de huesos. The hand of the Lord was set upon me, and he led me away in the Spirit of the Lord, and he released me in the midst of a plain which was full of bones.2Y me hizo pasar junto a ellos, todo en torno; y he aquí que eran numerosísimos. Estaban (tendidos) sobre la superficie de la llanura y secos en extremo. And he led me around, through them, on every side. Now they were very many upon the face of the plain, and they were exceedingly dry.3Y me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, ¿acaso volverán a tener vida estos huesos?” Yo respondí: “Yahvé, Señor, Tú lo sabes.” And he said to me, “Son of man, do you think that these bones will live?” And I said, “O Lord God, you know.”4Entonces me dijo: “Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: ¡Huesos secos, oíd la palabra de Yahvé! And he said to me, “Prophesy about these bones. And you shall say to them: Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord!5Así dice Yahvé a estos huesos: He aquí que os infundiré espíritu y viviréis. Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will send spirit into you, and you shall live.6Os recubriré de nervios, haré crecer carne sobre vosotros, os revestiré de piel y os infundiré espíritu para que viváis; y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé.” And I will set sinews upon you, and I will cause flesh to grow over you, and I will extend skin over you. And I will give you spirit, and you shall live. And you shall know that I am the Lord.”7Profeticé como se me había mandado; y mientras yo profetizaba he aquí que hubo un ruido tumultuoso, y se juntaron los huesos, cada hueso con su hueso (correspondiente). And I prophesied, just as he had instructed me. But a noise occurred, as I was prophesying, and behold: a commotion. And the bones joined together, each one at its joint.8Y miré y he aquí que crecieron sobre ellos nervios y carnes y por encima los cubrió piel; pero no había en ellos espíritu. And I saw, and behold: sinews and flesh rose up over them; and skin was extended over them. But they had no spirit within them.9Entonces me dijo: “Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo de hombre, y di al aliento: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: Ven, oh espíritu de los cuatro vientos, y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán.” And he said to me: “Prophesy to the spirit! Prophesy, O son of man, and you shall say to the spirit: Thus says the Lord God: Approach, O spirit, from the four winds, and blow across these ones who were slain, and revive them.”10Profeticé como Él me había mandado; y entró en ellos el espíritu, y vivieron y se pusieron en pie, (formando) un ejército sumamente grande. And I prophesied, just as he had instructed me. And spirit entered into them, and they lived. And they stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.11Entonces me dijo: “Hijo de hombre, estos huesos son toda la casa de Israel. Mira cómo dicen: «Se han secado nuestros huesos y ha perecido nuestra esperanza; estamos completamente perdidos». And he said to me: “Son of man: All these bones are the house of Israel. They say: ‘Our bones are dried out, and our hope has perished, and we have been cut off.’12Por eso profetiza, y diles: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que abriré vuestros sepulcros y os sacaré de vuestras tumbas, oh pueblo mío, y os llevaré a la tierra de Israel. Because of this, prophesy, and you shall say to them: Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your tombs, and I will lead you away from your sepulchers, O my people. And I will lead you into the land of Israel.13Y al abrir Yo vuestros sepulcros y al sacaros de vuestras tumbas, conoceréis, oh pueblo mío, que Yo soy Yahvé. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have opened your sepulchers, and when I will have led you away from your tombs, O my people.14E infundiré en vosotros mi espíritu y viviréis, y os daré reposo en vuestra tierra; y conoceréis que Yo, Yahvé, lo he dicho, y Yo lo hago, dice Yahvé.” And I will place my Spirit within you, and you shall live. And I will cause you to rest upon your own soil. And you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken and acted, says the Lord God.”15Me fue dirigida la palabra de Yahvé que dijo: And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:16“Tú, hijo de hombre, toma una vara y escribe en ella: «Para Judá y los hijos de Israel unidos a él». Luego toma otra vara y escribe en ella: «Para José, el báculo de Efraím, y para toda la casa de Israel que le está unida». “And as for you, son of man, take up a piece of wood for yourself, and write upon it: ‘For Judah, and for the sons of Israel, his companions.’ And take up another piece of wood, and write upon it: ‘For Joseph, the wood of Ephraim, and for the entire house of Israel, and for his companions.’17Y acerca la una a la otra para que sean una sola vara; y se unirán en tu mano. And join these, one to the other, for yourself, as one piece of wood. And they will be united in your hand.18Y cuando los hijos de tu pueblo te pregunten, diciendo: «¿No nos explicarás qué significa esto para ti?» Then, when the sons of your people will speak to you, saying: ‘Will you not tell us what you intend by this?’19diles: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que voy a tomar la vara de José que está en mano de Efraím, y las tribus de Israel que le están unidas, y las juntaré con la vara de Judá, haciendo de ellas una sola vara; y vendrán a ser una misma cosa en mi mano. you shall say to them: Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take up the wood of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, which are joined to him, and I will put them together with the wood of Judah, and I will make them one piece of wood. And they will be one in his hand.20Las varas en que tú escribas han de estar en tu mano, ante los ojos de ellos; Then the pieces of wood, on which you have written, will be in your hand, before their eyes.21y les dirás: Así dice Yahvé, el Señor: He aquí que Yo sacaré a los hijos de Israel de entre las naciones adonde fueron; los recogeré de todas las partes y los llevaré a su tierra. And you shall say to them: Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will take up the sons of Israel, from the midst of the nations to which they have gone, and I will gather them together on every side, and I will lead them onto their own soil.22Y haré de ellos una sola nación en el país, en los montes de Israel; un solo rey reinará sobre todos ellos; nunca más serán dos naciones ni se dividirán ya en dos reinos. And I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel, and one king will be ruler over all. And they will no longer be two nations, nor will they be divided any more into two kingdoms.23No se contaminarán más con sus ídolos, con sus abominaciones, ni con ninguna de sus transgresiones, puesto que Yo los pondré en salvo (sacándolos) de todos los lugares donde pecaron, y los purificaré; y ellos serán mi pueblo, y Yo seré su Dios. And they will no longer be defiled by their idols, and by their abominations, and by all their iniquities. And I will save them, out of all the settlements in which they have sinned, and I will cleanse them. And they will be my people, and I will be their God.24Mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos; y todos ellos tendrán un solo Pastor; observarán mis leyes y guardarán mis mandamientos y los cumplirán. And my servant David shall be the king over them, and they shall have one shepherd. They shall walk in my judgments, and they shall keep my commandments, and they shall do them.25Y habitarán en la tierra que Yo di a mi siervo Jacob, donde moraron vuestros padres; allí habitarán para siempre, ellos y sus hijos y los hijos de sus hijos; y mi siervo David será para siempre su príncipe. And they shall live upon the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, in which your fathers lived. And they shall live upon it, they and their sons, and the sons of their sons, even for all time. And David, my servant, shall be their leader, in perpetuity.26Y haré con todos ellos una alianza de paz, que será para ellos una alianza eterna; los estableceré y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi Santuario en medio de ellos perpetuamente. And I will strike a covenant of peace with them. This will be an everlasting covenant for them. And I will establish them, and multiply them. And I will set my sanctuary in their midst, unceasingly.27Y tendré entre ellos mi morada, y Yo seré el Dios de ellos, y ellos serán el pueblo mío. And my tabernacle shall be among them. And I will be their God, and they will be my people.28Y conocerán los gentiles que Yo soy Yahvé, el santificador de Israel, cuando mi Santuario esté en medio de ellos para siempre.” And the Gentiles shall know that I am the Lord, the Sanctifier of Israel, when my sanctuary will be in their midst, forever.”
