1El año veinte y cinco de nuestro cautiverio, al principio del año, el diez del mes, catorce años después de la caída de la ciudad, aquel mismo día vino sobre mí la mano de Yahvé y me trasladó allá. In the twenty-fifth year of our transmigration, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, on this very day, the hand of the Lord was placed upon me, and he brought me to that place.2Me llevó en visiones divinas a la tierra de Israel, y me colocó sobre un monte muy alto, sobre el cual había, al mediodía, una construcción semejante a una ciudad. In the visions of God, he brought me into the land of Israel, and he released me on an exceedingly high mountain, on which there was something like the edifice of a city, verging toward the south.3Cuando me había llevado allá, vi a un varón, cuyo aspecto era como el aspecto de bronce. Tenía en la mano una cuerda de lino y una caña de medir y estaba parado a la puerta. And he led me into that place. And behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a linen rope in his hand, and a measuring reed in his hand. And he was standing at the gate.4Y me dijo aquel varón: “Hijo de hombre, mira con tus ojos, y escucha con tus oídos y para mientes en todo lo que te voy a mostrar; pues para que yo te lo haga ver, has sido trasladado aquí. Todo cuanto veas anúncialo a la casa de Israel.” And the same man said to me: “Son of man, look with your eyes, and listen with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I will reveal to you. For you have been brought to this place, so that these things may be revealed to you. Announce all that you see to the house of Israel.”5Y vi un muro exterior que rodeaba toda la Casa; (vi) también en la mano de aquel varón una caña de medir, de seis codos, cada uno de los cuales tenía un codo y un palmo. Y midió el ancho del edificio: una caña; y la altura: una caña. And behold, there was a wall outside of the house, encircling it all around, and in the man’s hand was a measuring reed of six cubits and a palm. And he measured the width of the edifice with one reed; likewise, the height with one reed.6Entonces fue a la puerta que mira hacia el oriente, subió por sus gradas y midió el umbral de la puerta: una caña de ancho; y el otro umbral: una caña de ancho. And he went to the gate which looked toward the east, and he ascended by its steps. And he measured the width of the threshold of the gate as one reed, that is, one threshold was one reed in width.7Cada cámara tenía una caña de largo y una caña de ancho; y entre las cámaras había (un espacio) de cinco codos; y el umbral de la puerta junto al vestíbulo de la puerta interior tenía una caña. And a chamber was one reed in length and one reed in width. And between the chambers, there were five cubits.8Luego midió el vestíbulo de la puerta interior: una caña. And the threshold of the gate, next to the inner vestibule of the gate, was one reed.9Midió también el vestíbulo de la puerta: ocho codos; y sus pilares: dos codos; el vestíbulo de la puerta estaba en la parte de adentro. And he measured the vestibule of the gate as eight cubits, and its front as two cubits. But the vestibule of the gate was inside.10Las cámaras de la puerta oriental eran tres de un lado, y tres del otro. Una misma medida tenían todas ellas, y una misma medida los pilares de ambos lados. Moreover, the chambers of the gate, toward the way of the east, were three from one side to the other. The three were of one measure, and the fronts were of one measure, on both sides.11Después midió el ancho de la entrada de la puerta: diez codos; y la profundidad del portal: trece codos. And he measured the width of the threshold of the gate as ten cubits, and the length of the gate as thirteen cubits.12Había delante de las cámaras un espacio delimitado de un codo de un lado, y de un codo del otro lado; y cada cámara tenía seis codos por una y otra parte. And before the chambers, the border was one cubit. And on both sides, the border was one cubit. But the chambers were six cubits, from one side to the other.13Y midió la puerta desde el techo de una cámara hasta la (opuesta), y era su anchura de veinte y cinco codos, de puerta a puerta. And he measured the gate, from the roof of one chamber to the roof of another, twenty-five cubits in width, from door to door.14Y midió los pilares de sesenta codos, los cuales estaban adheridos al atrio que rodeaba todo (el edificio de) la puerta. And he found the fronts to be sixty cubits. And at the front, there was a court for the gate on every side all around.15Desde el frente de la puerta de la entrada hasta el frente del vestíbulo de la puerta interior, había cincuenta codos. And before the face of the gate, which extended even to the face of the vestibule of the gate of the interior, there were fifty cubits.16En las cámaras y sus pilares había ventanas de reja, que daban al interior (del edificio) de la puerta, todo en derredor, y asimismo en los vestíbulos. Las ventanas estaban todo en derredor y daban al interior, y en los pilares había palmeras. And there were slanting windows in the chambers and at their fronts, which were within the gate on every side all around. And similarly, there were also windows in the vestibules all around the interior, and there were images of palm trees before the fronts.17Me llevó después al atrio exterior; y allí había cámaras y un pavimento enlosado de piedras todo en torno del atrio. Treinta cámaras bordeaban el pavimento. And he led me away to the outer court, and behold, there were storerooms and a layer of pavement stones throughout the court. Thirty storerooms encircled the pavement.18El pavimento se extendía a ambos lados de las puertas, y correspondía a la profundidad de las puertas. Este era el pavimento inferior. And the pavement in front of the gates, along the length of the gates, was lower.19Y midió por la parte de afuera la profundidad (del atrio), desde la fachada de la puerta de abajo hasta la fachada del atrio interior; cien codos hacia el oriente y hacia el norte. And he measured the width, from the face of the lower gate to the front of the outer part of the inner court, to be one hundred cubits, to the east and to the north.20Midió también la longitud y la anchura de la puerta del atrio exterior, que mira hacia el norte. Likewise, he measured the gate of the outer court, which looked to the way of the north, to be as much in length as in width.21Sus cámaras, tres a un lado y tres al otro, así como sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían las mismas medidas que las de la puerta primera: cincuenta codos de largo por veinte y cinco de ancho. And its chambers were three from one side to the other. And its front and its vestibule, in accord with the measure of the former gate, were fifty cubits in its length and twenty-five cubits in width.22Sus ventanas, su vestíbulo y sus palmeras eran conforme a la medida de la puerta que miraba hacia el oriente. Now its windows, and the vestibule, and the engravings were in accord with the measure of the gate which looked to the east. And its ascent was by seven steps, and a vestibule was before it.23En el atrio interior había una puerta frente a la puerta septentrional, que correspondía a la oriental; y de puerta a puerta había una distancia de cien codos. And the gate of the inner court was opposite the gate of the north, and that of the east. And he measured from gate to gate as one hundred cubits.24Luego me llevó a la parte meridional; y he aquí una puerta que daba al sur; y midió sus pilares y su vestíbulo, que tenían las mismas dimensiones. And he led me to the way of the south, and behold, there was a gate which looked toward the south. And he measured its front and its vestibule to be the same as the measures above.25Tenía, así como su vestíbulo, todo en torno, ventanas semejantes a las otras ventanas, de cincuenta codos de largo y de veinte y cinco de ancho. And its windows and the vestibule all around were like the other windows: fifty cubits in length and twenty-five cubits in width.26Tenía también siete gradas para subir, y delante de ellas estaba un vestíbulo. Había en los pilares palmeras, una de un lado, y otra del otro. And there were seven steps to ascend to it, and a vestibule before its doors. And there were engraved palm trees, one on each side, at its front.27Había también en el atrio interior una puerta que miraba al sur; y midió (el varón) de puerta a puerta, hacia el sur: cien codos. And there was a gate at the inner court, on the way to the south. And he measured from one gate to another, on the way to the south, to be one hundred cubits.28Entonces me llevó al atrio interior, a la puerta meridional, y midió la puerta meridional, la cual tenía las mismas dimensiones. And he led me into the inner court, to the south gate. And he measured the gate to be in accord with the measures above.29También sus cámaras, sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían las mismas medidas. And there were eight steps to ascend to it.32Después me condujo, en el atrio interior, hacia el oriente y midió la puerta, la cual tenía las mismas medidas (que las otras). And he led me into the inner court, along the way of the east. And he measured the gate to be in accord with the measures above.33Sus cámaras, sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían aquellas mismas medidas; y había ventanas en ella y en su vestíbulo todo en derredor. Su longitud era de cincuenta codos, y su anchura de veinte y cinco. Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule were as above. And its windows and its vestibules all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.34Su vestíbulo daba al atrio exterior; en sus pilares a uno y otro lado había palmeras, y se subía a la (puerta) por ocho gradas. And it had a vestibule, that is, at the outer court. And the engraved palm trees at its front were on one side and the other. And its ascent was by eight steps.35Luego me llevó a la puerta del norte, y la midió con aquellas mismas medidas. And he led me to the gate which looked toward the north. Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule, and its windows all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.37Sus pilares daban al atrio exterior; en sus pilares había palmeras a un lado y al otro y se subía a la (puerta) por ocho gradas. And its vestibule looked toward the outer court. And an engraving of palm trees at its front was on one side and the other. And its ascent was by eight steps.38Había cámaras con puertas correspondientes junto a los pilares de las puertas, para lavar los holocaustos. And at each one of the storerooms, there was a door at the front of the gates. There, they washed the holocaust.39En el vestíbulo de la puerta había a cada lado dos mesas, para degollar sobre ellas los holocaustos, las víctimas por el pecado y las víctimas por la culpa. And at the vestibule of the gate, there were two tables on one side, and two tables on the other side, so that the holocaust, and the offering for sin, and the offering for transgression could be immolated upon them.40En el lado exterior, al norte de quien subía a la entrada de la puerta, había también dos mesas, y otras dos en la parte opuesta junto al pórtico de la puerta; And at the outer side, which ascends to the door of the gate that goes toward the north, there were two tables. And at the other side, before the vestibule of the gate, there were two tables.41de modo que había junto a la puerta cuatro mesas de un lado y cuatro mesas del otro, (o sea) ocho mesas, sobre las cuales se degollaban (las víctimas). Four tables were on one side, and four tables were on the other side; along the sides of the gate, there were eight tables, upon which they immolated.42Las cuatro mesas para los holocaustos eran de piedra labrada, de codo y medio de largo, codo y medio de ancho y un codo de alto. Sobre estas se ponían los instrumentos con que se degollaban los holocaustos y las (otras) víctimas. Now the four tables for the holocausts were constructed of square stones: one and a half cubit in length, and one and a half cubits in width, and one cubit in height. Upon these, they placed the vessels, in which the holocaust and the victim were immolated.43Por dentro había ganchos colocados todo en torno, qué tenían el tamaño de un palmo; y sobre las mesas, se ponía la carne de las víctimas. And their edges were one palm in width, turned inward all around. And the flesh of the oblation was on the tables.44Fuera de la puerta interior, en el atrio interior, había cámaras para los cantores, una al lado de la puerta del norte, con su frente hacia el sur; y otra al lado de la puerta oriental, con la frente hacia el norte. And outside the interior gate, there were storerooms for the cantors, in the inner court, which was beside the gate that looks toward the north. And their face was opposite the way to the south; one was beside the east gate, which looked toward the way of the north.45Y me dijo: “La cámara que mira hacia el sur, es para los sacerdotes que están al servicio de la Casa; And he said to me: “This is the storeroom that looks toward the south; it shall be for the priests who keep watch for the protection of the temple.46y la cámara que mira hacia el norte es para los sacerdotes que desempeñan el servicio del altar. Son los hijos de Sadoc los que entre los hijos de Levi se acercan a Yahvé para servirle.” Moreover, the storeroom that looks toward the north will be for the priests who keep watch over the ministry of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those among the sons of Levi who may draw near to the Lord, so that they may minister to him.”47Y midió el atrio: cien codos de largo y cien codos de ancho, un cuadrado. Y el altar estaba delante de la Casa. And he measured the court to be one hundred cubits in length, and one hundred cubits in width, with four equal sides. And the altar was before the face of the temple.48Después me llevó al pórtico de la Casa, y midió los pilares del pórtico: cinco codos de un lado y cinco del otro; y la anchura de la puerta: tres codos de un lado y tres del otro. And he led me into the vestibule of the temple. And he measured the vestibule to be five cubits on one side, and five cubits on the other side. And the width of the gate was three cubits on one side, and three cubits on the other side.49Tenía el pórtico veinte codos de largo y once codos de ancho, y se subía a él por gradas. Y había columnas junto a los pilares, una a cada lado. Now the length of the vestibule was twenty cubits, and the width was eleven cubits, and there were eight steps to ascend to it. And there were pillars at the front, one on this side and another on that side.
