Ezequiel 6
1Me fue dirigida la palabra de Yahvé que dijo: And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:2“Hijo de hombre, vuelve tu rostro hacia los montes de Israel, y profetiza contra ellos. “Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and you shall prophesy against them,3Dirás: ¡Oh montes de Israel! escuchad la palabra del Señor, Yahvé: Así dice el Señor, Yahvé, a los montes y a los collados, a las hondonadas y a los valles: He aquí que Yo voy a traer sobre vosotros la espada y destruiré vuestros lugares altos. and you shall say: O mountains of Israel, listen to the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God to the mountains and hills and cliffs and valleys: Behold, I will lead over you the sword. And I will destroy your exalted places.4Serán derribados vuestros altares y quebradas vuestras imágenes del sol, y (os) haré caer muertos delante de vuestros ídolos. And I will demolish your altars. And your graven images will be broken apart. And I will throw down your slain before your idols.5Y arrojaré los cadáveres de los hijos de Israel delante de sus ídolos, y esparciré vuestros huesos en torno a vuestros altares. And I will lay the dead bodies of the sons of Israel before the face of your idols. And I will scatter your bones around your altars.6En todos los lugares donde moráis, serán destruidas las ciudades y devastados los lugares altos, a fin de que queden asolados vuestros altares, y vengan a ser una desolación, y sean quebrados y aniquilados vuestros ídolos, y sean rotas vuestras imágenes del sol, y se acaben vuestras obras. In all of your habitations, the cities will be made desolate, and the exalted places will be torn down and scattered. And your altars will be broken and destroyed. And your idols will cease to exist. And your shrines will be crushed. And your works will be wiped away.7Entonces cuando caigan vuestros muertos en medio de vosotros, conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé. And the slain will fall in your midst. And you shall know that I am the Lord.8Mas os dejaré un resto de los que entre las naciones escapen a la espada, cuando andéis dispersos por los países. And I will leave among you those who will escape the sword among the Gentiles, when I will have dispersed you upon the earth.9Y vuestros escapados se acordarán de Mí en medio de las naciones adonde fueren llevados cautivos, cuando Yo quebrante su corazón fornicario que se apartó de Mí, y sus ojos adúlteros que fueron tras sus ídolos. Entonces tendrán asco de sí mismos, a causa de las maldades que han cometido, (manchándose) con todas sus abominaciones. And your liberated shall remember me among the nations to which they were led away as captives. For I have crushed their heart, which fornicated and withdrew from me, and their eyes, which fornicated after their idols. And they will be displeased with themselves over the evils that they have done by all their abominations.10Y conocerán que Yo soy Yahvé. No en vano he dicho que les mandaré estos males. And they shall know that I, the Lord, have not spoken in vain, that I would do this evil to them.”11Así dice el Señor, Yahvé: Da golpes con tu mano, y golpes con tu pie y di: ¡Ay! ¡Cuán grandes son todas las abominaciones de la casa de Israel, por las cuales caerán a espada y de hambre y de peste! Thus says the Lord God: “Strike with your hand, and stomp with your foot, and say: ‘Alas, to all the abominations of the evils of the house of Israel!’ For they will fall by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.12El que esté lejos, de peste morirá, y el que este cerca, a espada caerá; y el que quedare para sufrir el sitio, de hambre morirá; así desahogaré en ellos mi ira. Whoever is far away will die of pestilence. But whoever is near will fall by the sword. And whoever remains and is besieged will die by famine. And I will fulfill my indignation among them.13Y conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé, cuando sus muertos yazcan en medio de sus ídolos, en derredor de sus altares, en cada colina elevada, en la cima de todos los montes, debajo de todo árbol frondoso y debajo de toda encina tupida; lugares donde ofrecían olor grato a todos sus ídolos. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when your slain will be in the midst of your idols, all around your altars, on every exalted hill, and on the summits of all the mountains, and under every dense tree, and under every leafy oak: the places where they burned sweet-smelling incense to all their idols.14Extenderé mi mano contra ellos, y dejaré el país desolado y devastado desde el desierto hasta Dibla en todos los lugares donde habitan; y conocerán que Yo soy Yahvé.” And I will extend my hand over them. And I will make the earth desolate and destitute: from the desert of Riblah to all their dwelling places. And they shall know that I am the Lord.”
