Hebreos 13
1Perseverad en el amor fraternal. May fraternal charity remain in you.2No os olvidéis de la hospitalidad; por ella algunos sin saberlo hospedaron a ángeles. And do not be willing to forget hospitality. For by it, certain persons, without realizing it, have received Angels as guests.3Acordaos de los presos como si estuvierais presos con ellos, y de los maltratados, como que también vosotros vivís en cuerpo. Remember those who are prisoners, just as if you were imprisoned with them, and those who endure hardships, just as if you were in their place.4Cosa digna de honor para todos sea el matrimonio y el lecho conyugal sin mancilla, porque a los fornicarios y adúlteros los juzgará Dios. May marriage be honorable in every way, and may the marriage bed be immaculate. For God will judge fornicators and adulterers.5Sed en vuestro trato sin avaricia, estando contentos con lo que tenéis, puesto que Él mismo ha dicho: “No te abandonaré ni te desampararé”. Let your behavior be without avarice; be content with what you are offered. For he himself has said, “I will not abandon you, and I will not neglect you.”6De manera que podemos decir confiadamente: “El Señor es mi auxiliador, no temeré; ¿qué me podrá hacer el hombre?” So then, we may confidently say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man can do to me.”7Acordaos de vuestros prepósitos que os predicaron la Palabra de Dios. Considerad el fin de su vida e imitad su fe. Remember your leaders, who have spoken the Word of God to you, whose faith you imitate, by observing the goal of their way of life:8Jesucristo es el mismo ayer y hoy y por los siglos. Jesus Christ, yesterday and today; Jesus Christ forever.9No os dejéis llevar de un lugar a otro por doctrinas abigarradas y extrañas; mejor es corroborar el corazón con gracia y no con manjares, los cuales nunca aprovecharon a los que fueron tras ellos. Do not be led away by changing or strange doctrines. And it is best for the heart to be sustained by grace, not by foods. For the latter have not been as useful to those who walked by them.10Tenemos un altar del cual no tienen derecho a comer los que dan culto en el tabernáculo. We have an altar: those who serve in the tabernacle have no authority to eat from it.11Porque los cuerpos de aquellos animales, cuya sangre es introducida por el Sumo Sacerdote en el santuario (como sacrificio) por el pecado, son quemados fuera del campamento. For the bodies of those animals whose blood is carried into the Holy of holies by the high priest, on behalf of sin, are burned outside the camp.12Por lo cual también Jesús, para santificar al pueblo con su propia sangre, padeció fuera de la puerta. Because of this, Jesus, too, in order to sanctify the people by his own blood, suffered outside the gate.13Salgamos, pues, a Él fuera del campamento, llevando su oprobio. And so, let us go forth to him, outside the camp, bearing his reproach.14Porque aquí no tenemos ciudad permanente, sino que buscamos la futura. For in this place, we have no everlasting city; instead, we seek one in the future.15Ofrezcamos a Dios por medio de Él un continuo sacrificio de alabanza, esto es, el fruto de los labios que bendicen su Nombre. Therefore, through him, let us offer the sacrifice of continual praise to God, which is the fruit of lips confessing his name.16Y del bien hacer, y de la mutua asistencia, no os olvidéis; en sacrificios tales se complace Dios. But do not be willing to forget good works and fellowship. For God is deserving of such sacrifices.17Obedeced a vuestros prepósitos y sujetaos, porque velan por vuestras almas como quienes han de dar cuenta, a fin de que lo hagan con alegría y no con pena, pues esto no os sería provechoso. Obey your leaders and be subject to them. For they watch over you, as if to render an account of your souls. So then, may they do this with joy, and not with grief. Otherwise, it would not be as helpful to you.18Orad por nosotros, porque confiamos tener buena conciencia, queriendo comportarnos bien en todo. Pray for us. For we trust that we have a good conscience, being willing to conduct ourselves well in all things.19Tanto más ruego que hagáis esto, a fin de que yo os sea restituido más pronto. And I beg you, all the more, to do this, so that I may be quickly returned to you.20El Dios de la paz, el cual resucitó de entre los muertos al (que es el) gran Pastor de las ovejas, “en la sangre de la Alianza eterna”, el Señor nuestro Jesús, Then may the God of peace, who led back from the dead that great Pastor of sheep, our Lord Jesus Christ, with the blood of the eternal testament,21os perfeccione en todo bien para que cumpláis su voluntad, obrando Él en vosotros lo que es grato a sus ojos, por medio de Jesucristo, a quien sea la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén. equip you with all goodness, so that you may do his will. May he accomplish in you whatever is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom is glory forever and ever. Amen.22Os ruego, hermanos, que soportéis esta palabra de exhortación, pues os he escrito solo brevemente. And I beg you, brothers, that you may permit this word of consolation, especially since I have written to you with few words.23Sabed de nuestro hermano Timoteo que ha sido puesto en libertad; con el cual si viniere presto iré a veros. Know that our brother Timothy has been set free. If he arrives soon, then I will see you with him.24Saludad a todos vuestros prepósitos y a todos los santos. Os saludan los de Italia. Greet all your leaders and all the saints. The brothers from Italy greet you.25La gracia sea con todos vosotros. Amén. Grace be with you all. Amen.
