Oseas 2

1Decid a vuestros hermanos «Ammí», y a vuestras hermanas «Ruhama». “Say to your brothers, ‘You are my people,’ and to your sister, ‘You have obtained mercy.’2¡Acusad a vuestra madre, acusadla! Porque ella no es mi mujer, ni Yo soy su marido; aparte de su rostro sus fornicaciones y de su seno sus adulterios; Judge your mother, judge: for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband. Let her remove her fornications from before her face and her adulteries from between her breasts.3No sea que Yo la despoje, dejándola desnuda, y la ponga (tal como estaba) en el día de su nacimiento, y la haga semejante a un desierto, y la convierta en una tierra árida, y la mate de sed. Otherwise, I may expose her nakedness and set her as on the day of her birth, and I may establish her as a wilderness and set her as an impassable land, and I may execute her with thirst.4No me compadeceré de sus hijos; porque son hijos de fornicación. And I will not have mercy on her sons, for they are the sons of fornications.5Pues su madre ha cometido fornicación; ha quedado sin honor la que los dio a luz; pues ella dijo: «Iré en pos de mis amantes, que son los que me dan mi pan y mi agua, mi lana y mi lino, mi aceite y mi bebida.» For their mother has been fornicating; she who conceived them has been brought to ruin. For she said, ‘I will go after my lovers, who give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.’6Por eso, he aquí que voy a cerrar tu camino con zarzas; la cercaré con un muro para que no pueda hallar sus senderos. Because of this, behold, I will fence in your way with thorns, and I will surround it with a wall, and she will not find her paths.7Irá en pos de sus amantes, pero no los alcanzará; los buscará y no los hallará. Luego dirá: «Iré y volveré a mi primer marido, pues entonces me iba mejor que ahora.» And she will pursue her lovers, but she will not obtain them, and she will seek them, but she will not find them, and she will say, ‘I will go and return to my first husband, because it was to some extent better for me then, than it is now.’8No reconoció ella que Yo fui quien le di el trigo, el vino y el aceite, y le multipliqué la plata y el oro, empleado para Baal. And she did not know that I gave her grain and wine and oil, and that I increased her silver and gold, which they made into Baal.9Por eso le quitaré mi trigo a su tiempo, y mi vino al tiempo señalado; y recobraré mi lana y mi lino con que cubre su desnudez. For this reason, I will turn back, and I will take away my grain in its time and my wine in its time, and I will set free my wool and my flax, which had covered her disgrace.10Mas ahora descubriré sus vergüenzas a los ojos de sus amantes; y no habrá quien la libre de mi mano. And now, I will reveal her foolishness by the eyes of her lovers, and no man will rescue her from my hand.11Haré cesar toda su alegría, sus fiestas, sus novilunios y sus sábados, y todas sus solemnidades. And I will cause all her joy to cease: her solemnities, her new moons, her Sabbaths, and all her feast dates.12Devastaré sus viñas y sus higueras, de las cuales ella decía: «Estas son el salario que me han dado mis amantes». Las convertiré en un matorral y las devorarán las bestias del campo. And I will corrupt her vines and her fig trees, about which she said, ‘These rewards, they are mine, my lovers have given them to me.’ And I will place her in a narrow forest, and the beasts of the field will devour her.13La castigaré por los días de los Baales a los cuales ella quemaba incienso, cuando adornándose con sus zarcillos y collares, y yendo en pos de sus amantes se olvidaba de Mí, dice Yahvé. And I will inflict on her the days of the Baals, for whom she burned incense, and ornamented herself with earrings and necklace, and went after her lovers, and forgot about me,” says the Lord.14Por eso Yo la atraeré y la llevaré a la soledad y le hablaré al corazón. “Because of this, behold, I will attract her, and I will lead her into the wilderness, and I will speak to her heart.15Y desde allí le devolveré sus viñas, y el Valle de Acor como puerta de esperanza; y ella cantará allí, como en los días de su juventud, como el día en que subió de Egipto. And I will give to her, from the same place, her vinedressers, and the valley of Achor as a passage of hope. And she will sing there as in the days of her youth, and as in the days of her ascension from the land of Egypt.16En aquel día, dice Yahvé, me llamarás: «Señor mío», y no me llamarás ya: «Mi Baal». And it will be in that day,” says the Lord, “that she will call me, ‘My Husband,’ and she will no longer call me, ‘My Baal.’17Pues quitaré, de su boca los nombres de los Baales, y nunca jamás serán mencionados por sus nombres. And I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth, and she will no longer remember their name.18En aquel día haré en favor de ellos alianza con las fieras del campo, con las aves del cielo y con los reptiles de la tierra; quebraré en la tierra arco, espada y guerra, y haré que reposen seguros. And in that day, I will strike a deal with them, with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of the sky, and with the creatures of the earth. And I will crush the bow and the sword, and I will wipe away war from the earth. And I will let them sleep securely.19Y te desposaré conmigo para siempre; te desposaré conmigo en justicia y juicio, en misericordia y piedad. And I will betroth you to me forever, and I will betroth you to me in justice and judgment, and in mercy and compassion.20Te desposaré conmigo en fidelidad, y reconocerás a Yahvé. And I will wed you to me in faith, and you will know that I am the Lord.21En aquel día responderé, dice Yahvé; sí, Yo responderé a los cielos, y ellos responderán a la tierra; And this will happen in that day: I will listen closely,” says the Lord. “I will hear the heavens, and they will hear the earth.22y la tierra responderá al trigo, al vino y al aceite; y estos responderán a Jezrael. And the land will pay attention to the grain, and the wine, and the oil; and these will hear Jezreel.23Sembraré a (Israel) para Mí en la tierra; y me compadeceré de Lo-Ruhama, And I will plant her for me in the land, and I will have mercy on her, though she had been called Without Mercy.24y al que dije “Lo-Ammí”, le diré: “Pueblo mío eres”; y él dirá: “Tú eres mi Dios.” And I will say to Not My People, ‘You are my people,’ and they will say, ‘You are my God.’ ”
