Isaías 62
1A causa de Sión no puedo callar, y por amor de Jerusalén no buscaré descanso; hasta que salga, cual luz, su justicia, y brille, cual antorcha, su salvación. For the sake of Zion, I will not be silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem, I will not rest, until her Just One advances in splendor, and her Savior is kindled like a lamp.2Entonces verán los gentiles tu justicia, y todos los reyes tu gloria; y se te dará un nombre nuevo, que Yahvé determinará con su boca. And the Gentiles will see your Just One, and all the kings will see your Renowned One. And you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord will choose.3Tú serás una corona de gloria en la mano de Yahvé, y una diadema real en la mano de tu Dios. And you shall be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.4Ya no serás llamada “Desamparada”, ni será denominado tu país “Desierto”; serás llamada “Mi delicia está sobre ti”, y tu tierra, “Esposa”; porque en ti se deleita Yahvé y tu tierra tendrá esposo. You will no longer be called Forsaken. And your land will no longer be called Desolate. Instead, you shall be called My Will within it, and your land shall be called Inhabited. For the Lord has been well pleased with you, and your land will be inhabited.5Porque así como el joven se desposa con la doncella, así tus hijos se desposarán contigo; y como el novio se complace en la novia, así serás tú el gozo de tu Dios. For the young man will live with the virgin, and your children will live with you. And the groom will rejoice over the bride, and your God will rejoice over you.6Sobre tus muros, oh Jerusalén, he puesto centinelas, que nunca callarán, ni de día ni de noche. ¡No os deis descanso, los que recordáis a Yahvé! Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, I have stationed watchmen all day and all night unceasingly; they will not be silent. And the sons of foreigners will not drink your wine, for which you have labored.”9Los que recogen la cosecha la comerán, y alabarán a Yahvé; y los que hacen la vendimia beberán el (vino) en los atrios de mi Santuario. And those who bring it together will drink it in my holy courts.10Pasad, pasad por las puertas; preparad el camino al pueblo, allanad, allanad la senda, quitad las piedras; alzad un estandarte para los pueblos.” Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare a way for the people! Make the road level, remove the stones, and lift up a sign for the people!11He aquí lo que Yahvé ha pregonado hasta las extremidades de la tierra: “Decid a la hija de Sión: «Mira que viene tu Salvador, mira cómo trae consigo su galardón, y delante de él va su recompensa.» Behold, the Lord has caused it to be heard to the ends of the earth. Tell the daughter of Zion: “Behold, your Savior approaches! Behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.”12Entonces serán llamados «Pueblo Santo», «Redimidos de Yahvé», y tú serás llamada «Buscada», «Ciudad no desamparada».” And they will call them: The holy people, the redeemed of the Lord. Then you will be called: A city sought, and not forsaken.
