1Pues he aquí que en aquellos días y en aquel tiempo, cuando Yo repatriare a los cautivos de Judá y de Jerusalén, For, behold, in those days and in that time, when I will have converted the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,2congregaré a todos los gentiles y los haré bajar al valle de Josafat; y allí disputaré con ellos en favor de mi pueblo e Israel, la herencia mía, que ellos esparcieron entre las naciones, repartiéndose entre sí mi tierra. I will gather all the Gentiles, and will lead them into the valley of Jehoshaphat. And there I will dispute with them over my people, and over Israel, my inheritance, for they have scattered them among the nations and have divided my land.3Echaron suertes sobre mi pueblo, y dieron un muchacho por una prostituta; y vendieron una doncella por vino para beber. And they have cast lots over my people; and the boy they have placed in the brothel, and the girl they have sold for wine, so that they might drink.4En fin ¿qué sois vosotros para Mí, oh Tiro y Sidón, y todas las regiones de Filistea? ¿Por ventura queréis vengaros de Mí? Si queréis vengaros de Mí, ligera y prontamente haré recaer vuestra maldad sobre vuestra cabeza. Truly, what is there between you and me, Tyre and Sidon and all the distant places of the Philistines? How will you take vengeance on me? And if you were to revenge yourselves against me, I would deliver a repayment to you, quickly and soon, upon your head.5Porque tomasteis mi plata y mi oro, y os llevasteis a vuestros templos mis joyas preciosas, For you have carried away my silver and gold. And my desirable and most beautiful, you have taken into your shrines.6y vendisteis los hijos de Judá y los de Jerusalén a los griegos, llevándolos lejos de su país. And you, sons of Judah and sons of Jerusalem, you have sold the sons of the Greeks, so that you might drive them far from their own territory.7He aquí que Yo los suscitaré del lugar donde los vendisteis, y haré recaer vuestra maldad sobre vuestra cabeza. Behold, I will raise them up from the place into which you have sold them, and I will turn back your retribution on your own head.8Venderé vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas en mano de los hijos de Judá, que los venderán a los sabeos, gente lejana; pues (así) ha hablado Yahvé. And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hands of the sons of Judah, and they will sell them to the Sabeans, a distant nation, for the Lord has spoken.9Proclamad esto entre los gentiles; preparaos para la guerra, despertad a los valientes. Vengan y suban todos los hombres de guerra. Proclaim this among the Gentiles: “Sanctify a war, raise up the strong. Approach, ascend, all men of war.10Forjad espadas de vuestros azadones, y lanzas de vuestras hoces; diga el débil: “Yo soy fuerte.” Cut your ploughs into swords and your hoes into spears. Let the weak say, ‘For I am strong.’11Apresuraos y venid, gentes todas de en derredor, y congregaos; ¡y Tú, Yahvé, conduce allí tus campeones! Break out and advance, all nations of the world, and gather together. There the Lord will cause all your strong ones to meet death.”12¡Levántense y asciendan los gentiles al valle de Josafat! porque allí me sentaré para juzgar a todos los gentiles a la redonda. Let them arise and ascend to the valley of Jehoshaphat. For there I will sit, so as to judge all the nations of the world.13Echad la hoz, porque la mies está ya madura, venid y pisad, porque lleno está el lagar; se desbordan las tinas; pues su iniquidad es grande. Send forth the sickles, because the harvest has matured. Advance and descend, for the press is full, the pressing room is overflowing. For their malice has been increasing.14Muchedumbres, muchedumbres hay en el valle de la Sedición, porque se acerca el día de Yahvé en el valle de la Sedición. Nations, nations in the valley of being cut to pieces: for the day of the Lord fittingly takes place in the valley of being cut to pieces.15El sol y la luna se oscurecen, y las estrellas pierden su resplandor. The sun and the moon have been darkened, and the stars have withdrawn their splendor.16Yahvé ruge desde Sión, y desde Jerusalén hace oír su voz; y tiemblan el cielo y la tierra. Mas Yahvé es el refugio de su pueblo, y la fortaleza de los hijos de Israel. And the Lord will roar from Zion and utter his voice from Jerusalem. And the heavens and the earth will be moved. And the Lord will be the hope of his people and the strength of the sons of Israel.17Entonces conoceréis que Yo soy Yahvé, vuestro Dios, que habito en Sión, mi santo monte. Jerusalén será santa, y ya no pasarán por ella los extraños. And you will know that I am the Lord your God, dwelling on Zion, my holy mountain. And Jerusalem will be holy, and strangers will not cross through it anymore.18En aquel día los montes destilarán mosto, y manarán leche los collados; todos los torrentes de Judá correrán llenos de agua, y de la Casa de Yahvé saldrá una fuente que regará el valle de las Acacias. And it will happen, in that day, that the mountains will drip sweetness, and the hills will flow with milk. And the waters will pass through all the rivers of Judah. And a fountain will go forth from the house of the Lord, and it will irrigate the desert of thorns.19Egipto será una desolación, y Edom un desierto abandonado, a causa de la opresión (que infligieron) a los hijos de Judá; pues derramaron sangre inocente en su tierra. Egypt will be in desolation, and Edom will be a wilderness destroyed, because of what they have unfairly done to the sons of Judah, and because they have shed innocent blood in their land.20Mas Judá quedará habitada por siempre, y Jerusalén de generación en generación. And Judea will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem for generation upon generation.21Y Yo vengaré la sangre de ellos, que no había sido vengada. Y Yahvé morará en Sión. And I will cleanse their blood, which I had not cleansed. And the Lord will remain in Zion.
