Levítico 24
1Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:2“Manda a los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite puro de olivas majadas para el candelabro para alimentar continuamente las lámparas. Instruct the sons of Israel, so that they may bring to you clear oil from the purest olives, in order to supply the lamps continuously3Aarón las aderezará fuera del velo del Testimonio, en el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, (para que ardan) de continuo ante Yahvé desde la tarde hasta la mañana. Es ley perpetua para vuestras generaciones. outside the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the covenant. And Aaron shall place these, from evening until morning, before the Lord, as a perpetual worship and ritual in your generations.4El aderezará siempre las lámparas del candelabro (de oro) puro que está delante de Yahvé. They shall be placed upon the most pure candlestick in the sight of the Lord always.5Tomarás flor de harina, y cocerás de ella doce tortas. Dos décimas tomarás para cada torta. You shall also receive fine wheat flour, and you shall bake twelve loaves from it, each loaf of which shall have two-tenths.6Las colocarás en dos pilas, seis en cada pila, sobre la mesa pura delante de Yahvé. And you shall arrange them, six on each side, upon the most pure table before the Lord.7Pondrás sobre cada pila incienso puro, que haga del pan un memorial que se ofrece a Yahvé mediante el fuego. And you shall place upon them the clearest frankincense, so that the bread may be a memorial of oblation for the Lord.8Cada sábado se aderezará delante de Yahvé continuamente el pan de parte de los hijos de Israel. Será una alianza perpetua. On each Sabbath, they shall be changed before the Lord, having been received from the sons of Israel as an everlasting covenant.9Pertenecerá a Aarón y a sus hijos, que lo comerán en lugar sagrado; porque es para él cosa santísima como las ofrendas hechas a Yahvé mediante el fuego. Es ley perpetua.” And they shall be for Aaron and his sons, so that they may eat these in the holy place; for it is the Holy of holies from the sacrifices of the Lord, as a perpetual right.10Se metió entre los hijos de Israel el hijo de una mujer israelita, pero de padre egipcio; y riñeron en el campamento el hijo de la israelita y un hombre de Israel. Then, behold, the son of an Israelite woman, whom she had born of an Egyptian man among the sons of Israel, going out, was quarreling in the camp with a man of Israel.11Y blasfemó el hijo de la israelita el nombre (de Dios) y le maldijo, por lo cual le condujeron a Moisés. El nombre de su madre era Selomit, hija de Dibrí, de la tribu de Dan. And when he had blasphemed the name, and had cursed it, he was led to Moses. (Now his mother was called Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri from the tribe of Dan.)12Le guardaron en prisión esperando el juicio por boca de Yahvé. And they sent him to prison, until they might know what the Lord would command,13Y Yahvé habló a Moisés, y dijo: who spoke to Moses,14“Saca al blasfemo fuera del campamento, y todos los que le oyeron pongan las manos sobre su cabeza, y apedréele todo el pueblo. saying: Lead away the blasphemer beyond the camp, and let all who heard him place their hands upon his head, and let the entire people stone him.15Y dirás a los hijos de Israel estas palabras: “Cualquier hombre que maldijere a su Dios llevara sobre sí su pecado. And you shall say to the sons of Israel: The man who curses his God shall bear his sin,16Quien blasfemare el Nombre de Yahvé muera irremisiblemente; toda la Congregación le apedreará. El extranjero y el indígena cuando blasfemare el Nombre morirá.” and whoever will have blasphemed the name of the Lord shall be put to death. The entire multitude shall overwhelm him with stones, whether he be a citizen or a sojourner. Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall be put to death.17Quien hiriere a otro mortalmente, muera irremisiblemente. Whoever will have struck and killed a man shall be put to death.18Quien hiriere mortalmente a una bestia restituirá otra por ella. Bestia por bestia. Whoever will have struck down an animal shall repay its equivalent, that is, a life for a life.19Si alguno causare una herida a otro, según hizo él, así se le hará; Whoever will have inflicted a blemish on any of his citizens, just as he has done, so shall it be done to him:20fractura por fractura, ojo por ojo, diente por diente; se le hará la misma lesión que él haya causado a otro. fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, shall he repay. Whatever degree of blemish he has inflicted, so shall he be compelled to suffer.21Quien matare una bestia hará restitución por ella, mas quien matare a un hombre, morirá. Whoever strikes down a beast, shall repay another. Whoever strikes a man shall be punished.22Una misma ley tendréis para el extranjero y para los de vuestro pueblo; porque Yo soy Yahvé, vuestro Dios.” Let there be equal judgment among you, whether it is a sojourner or a citizen who will have sinned. For I am the Lord your God.23Habló entonces Moisés a los hijos de Israel, y sacaron al blasfemo fuera del campamento y le apedrearon. Así hicieron los hijos de Israel como Yahvé había mandado a Moisés. And Moses spoke to the sons of Israel. And they led away him who had blasphemed, beyond the camp, and they overwhelmed him with stones. And the sons of Israel did just as the Lord had instructed Moses.
