Levítico 6
1Y habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:2“Quien pecare y cometiere infidelidad contra Yahvé, negando a su compañero (la devolución de) un depósito, o de una prenda puesta en sus manos, o de una cosa robada, o haciendo violencia a uno de su pueblo, The soul who will have sinned, and, despising the Lord, will have denied to his neighbor the deposit which he had entrusted to his safekeeping, or who will have extorted anything by force, or who will have made a false accusation,3o hallare una cosa perdida y mintiere respecto de ella, jurando en falso, en una de las cosas en que los hombres suelen pecar; or who will have found a lost thing and then also withheld it by swearing falsely, or who will have done any other of the many things by which men usually sin:4cuando así pecare, haciéndose culpable, devolverá lo robado, o lo apropiado con violencia, o el depósito que se le confió, o la cosa perdida que halló, being convicted of the offense, he shall restore5o todo aquello sobre lo cual juró en falso. Lo restituirá íntegramente, con el recargo de una quinta parte, y lo devolverá a su dueño en el día de su sacrificio expiatorio. all that he wanted to obtain by fraud, the whole plus an additional fifth part, to the owner against whom he brought the damage.6Y entregará al sacerdote para Yahvé, como sacrificio por su culpa, un carnero del rebaño, sin tacha, según tu valuación. Then, on behalf of his sin, he shall offer an immaculate ram from the flock, and he shall give it to the priest, according to the estimation and measure of the offense.7El sacerdote hará por él la expiación delante de Yahvé; y le será perdonada cualquier culpa en que haya incurrido.” And he shall pray for him in the sight of the Lord, and he shall be released from any one of those things that he did when he sinned.8Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:9“Manda a Aarón y a sus hijos y diles: Esta es la ley del holocausto: El holocausto estará en el altar sobre el fuego encendido toda la noche hasta la mañana, sin que el fuego del altar se apague. Instruct Aaron and his sons: This is the law of a holocaust. It shall be burned upon the altar, all night until morning. The fire shall be from the same altar.10El sacerdote se vestirá su túnica de lino y puestos sobre su carne los calzoncillos de lino, sacará las cenizas a que el fuego habrá reducido el holocausto sobre el altar, y las depositará al lado del altar. The priest shall be vested with the tunic and the linen undergarments. And he shall take up the ashes of that which the devouring fire has consumed, and, placing them next to the altar,11Después se quitará los vestidos y se pondrá otros para llevar las cenizas fuera del campamento a un lugar puro. he shall strip off his former vestments, and being clothed with others, he shall carry them beyond the camp, and he shall cause them to be consumed, even to glowing embers, in a very clean place.12El fuego arderá siempre en el altar sin apagarse; el sacerdote lo cebará con leña todas las mañanas, dispondrá encima el holocausto y quemará sobre él el sebo de los sacrificios pacíficos. But the fire on the altar shall burn always, for the priest shall nourish it by placing wood under it each day in the morning. And, laying down the holocaust, he shall burn the fat of the peace offerings upon it.13Es un fuego que ha de arder perpetuamente sobre el altar, sin apagarse jamás.” This is the perpetual fire which shall never fail upon the altar.14“Esta es la ley de la oblación. Los hijos de Aarón la presentarán delante de Yahvé, frente al altar. This is the law of the sacrifice and the libations, which the sons of Aaron shall offer in the sight of the Lord, and before the altar.15El (sacerdote) tomará de la oblación un puñado de flor de harina con su aceite, y todo el incienso puesto sobre la oblación, y lo quemará en el altar, para recuerdo, como olor grato a Yahvé. The priest shall take a handful of fine wheat flour, which has been sprinkled with oil, and all the frankincense, which has been placed upon the flour, and he shall burn it upon the altar as a memorial of most sweet odor to the Lord.16El resto de ella lo comerán Aarón y sus hijos; debe comerse sin levadura en lugar santo. En el atrio del Tabernáculo de la Reunión han de comerlo. And the remaining portion of the flour, Aaron shall eat with his sons, without leaven. And he shall eat it in the holy place, in the atrium of the tabernacle.17No se la cocerá con levadura. Es la porción que Yo les doy de lo que se me ofrece para ser consumido por el fuego. Es cosa sacratísima, como el sacrificio por el pecado y como el sacrificio por el delito. Yet for this reason, it shall not be leavened, because part of it is offered as an incense of the Lord. The Holy of holies shall it be, just as what is offered on behalf of sin and of transgression.18Todos los varones de los hijos de Aarón comerán de ello. Es ley perpetua de generación en generación con respecto a las ofrendas hechas a Yahvé por el fuego. Todo el que las tocare quedará santificado.” Only the males of the stock of Aaron shall eat it. This shall be an everlasting ordinance in your generations concerning the sacrifices of the Lord. All who will touch these shall be sanctified.19Y habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:20“Esta es la oblación que Aarón y sus hijos presentarán a Yahvé el día de su unción: la décima parte de un efa de flor de harina. Es oblación perpetua, la mitad por la mañana, y la mitad por la tarde. This is the oblation of Aaron and of his sons, which they must offer to the Lord in the day of their anointing. They shall offer a tenth part of an ephah of fine wheat flour as a perpetual sacrifice, half of it in the morning, and half of it in the evening.21Será preparada con aceite en la sartén; bien frita la ofrecerás; como oblación partida en trozos la presentarás como olor grato a Yahvé. It shall be sprinkled with oil and fried in a frying pan. Then it shall be offered hot, as a most sweet odor to the Lord,22También el Sumo Sacerdote que le suceda de entre sus hijos, la ofrecerá. Y es precepto perpetuo de Yahvé que sea totalmente quemada. by the priest who by law succeeds his father. And it shall be entirely burned on the altar.23Toda oblación de sacerdote será totalmente quemada; no se comerá.” For every sacrifice of the priest shall be consumed by fire; neither shall anyone eat from it.24Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:25“Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos y diles: Esta es la ley del sacrificio por el pecado: En el lugar donde se degüella el holocausto, delante de Yahvé, será degollada también la víctima por el pecado. Es cosa santísima. Say to Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the victim for sin. In the place where the holocaust is offered, it shall be immolated in the sight of the Lord. It is the Holy of holies.26El sacerdote que ofrece la víctima por el pecado la comerá. La comerá en lugar santo, en el atrio del Tabernáculo de la Reunión. The priest who offers it shall eat it in the holy place, in the atrium of the tabernacle.27Todo el que tocare esta carne será santificado, y si una gota de su sangre cayere sobre un vestido, lavarás en lugar santo la parte manchada por la sangre. Whatever will touch its flesh shall be sanctified. If a garment will be sprinkled with its blood, it shall be washed in a holy place.28La vasija de barro en que haya sido cocida será quebrada; y si fuere cocida en vasija de cobre, se la fregará y lavará con agua. Then the earthen vessel, in which it was soaked, shall be broken. But if the vessel will be of brass, it shall be scoured and washed with water.29Todos los varones de entre los sacerdotes podrán comer de ella. Es cosa santísima. Every male of priestly descent shall feed on its flesh, because it is the Holy of holies.30Mas no se comerá ninguna víctima ofrecida por el pecado, cuando parte de su sangre haya de llevarse al Tabernáculo de la Reunión para hacer la expiación en el Santuario. Será quemada en el fuego.” For the victim that is slain for sin, whose blood is carried into the tabernacle of the testimony, for expiation in the Sanctuary, shall not be eaten, but it shall be consumed by fire.
