1Yahvé habló a Moisés diciendo: And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:2“Manda a los hijos de Israel y diles: Entrado que hubiereis en la tierra de Canaán, esa tierra que os tocará en herencia, serán sus fronteras las siguientes: “Instruct the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: When you will have entered into the land of Canaan, and it has fallen into your possession by lot, it shall be bound by these limits:3Vuestro lado meridional se extenderá desde el desierto de Sin a lo largo del costado de Edom. Por oriente vuestra frontera meridional arrancará desde el extremo del Mar Salado. The southern part shall begin from the wilderness of Sin, which is next to Edom, and it shall have the Sea of Salt as a limit to the east.4Luego vuestra frontera torcerá al sur, por la subida de Acrabim y pasará adelante hacia Sin, hasta llegar al sur de Cadesbarnea. De allí irá a Hasaradar y seguirá hacia Asmón. It shall circle on the south side along the ascent of the Scorpion, by this way crossing into Senna, and passing through, from the south, as far as Kadesh-barnea, from which its confines shall go out to the town called Adar, and extend even to Azmon.5Desde Asmón la frontera se inclinará hacia el arroyo de Egipto y llegará al Mar. And its limits shall go around from Azmon to the Torrent of Egypt, and shall end at the shore of the Great Sea.6Vuestra frontera occidental será el Mar grande. Este os servirá de frontera occidental. Then the western region shall begin from the Great Sea, and the same shall be its end.7Vuestra frontera septentrional será esta: Desde el Mar grande la trazaréis hasta el monte Hor. Furthermore, toward the northern region, its limits shall begin from the Great Sea, passing through even to the highest mountain.8Desde el monte Hor la continuaréis hasta la entrada de Hamat, llegando hasta Sedad; From there, it limits shall advance into Hamath, as far as the limits of Zedad.9seguirá hasta Sefrón, y terminará en Hasar-Enán. Esta será vuestra frontera septentrional. And its confines shall go all the way to Ziphron, and to the village of Enan. These shall be the limits on the northern side.10La frontera oriental os la trazaréis de Hasar-Enán hacia Sefam. From there, its limits shall be measured, facing the east side, from the village of Enan as far as Shepham.11De Sefam bajará la frontera a Riblá, al oriente de Ayin, de donde descenderá y flanqueará el costado oriental del Mar de Kinéret. And from Shepham, the boundaries shall descend into Riblah, opposite the fountain of Daphnis. From there, the boundaries shall pass through, opposite the east, to the Sea of Chinnereth,12Luego la frontera descenderá hasta el Jordán, y llegará hasta el Mar Salado. Esta será vuestra tierra y sus fronteras a la redonda.” and shall extend as far as the Jordan, and, at the furthest extent, shall be enclosed by the Sea of Salt. For the tribe of the sons of Ruben, by their families, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, according to the number of their kinships, and also one half of the tribe of Manasseh,15Estas dos tribus y la media tribu recibieron su herencia en la otra ribera del Jordán, frente a Jericó, al oriente donde se levanta el sol.” that is, two and a half tribes, have received their portion across the Jordan, opposite Jericho, toward the eastern side.”16Habló Yahvé a Moisés, diciendo: And the Lord said to Moses:17“Estos son los nombres de los varones que os han de repartir la tierra: el sacerdote Eleazar y Josué, hijo de Nun. “These are the names of the men, who shall divide the land for you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun,18Tomaréis también un príncipe de cada tribu para repartir la tierra. and one leader from each tribe,19He aquí los nombres de los varones: De la tribu de Judá, Caleb, hijo de Jefone; whose names are these: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh;20de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Samuel, hijo de Amiud; from the tribe of Simeon, Samuel the son of Ammihud;21de la tribu de Benjamín, Eliad, hijo de Caselón; from the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon;22de la tribu de los hijos de Dan, el príncipe Buquí, hijo de Joglí; from the tribe of the sons of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli;23de los hijos de José, por la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, el príncipe Haniel, hijo de Efod; of the sons of Joseph, from the tribe of Manasseh, Hanniel the son of Ephod;24de la tribu de los hijos de Efraím, el príncipe Camuel, hijo de Siftán; from the tribe of Ephraim, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan;25de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, el príncipe Elisafán, hijo de Farnac; from the tribe of Zebulon, Elizaphan the son of Parnach;26de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, el príncipe Faltiel, hijo de Asan; from the tribe of Issachar, Paltiel the leader, the son of Azzan;27de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, el príncipe Ahiud, hijo de Selomí. from the tribe of Asher, Ahihud the son of Shelomi;28De la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, el príncipe Fadael, hijo de Amiud.” from the tribe of Naphtali, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”29Estos son aquellos a quienes Yahvé mandó que repartieran la tierra de Canaán entre los hijos de Israel. These are the ones that the Lord has ordered to divide the land of Canaan to the sons of Israel.
