Salmos 113
1¡Hallelú Yah! Cuando Israel salió de Egipto, —la casa de Jacob de entre un pueblo bárbaro— Alleluia. At the departure of Israel from Egypt, the house of Jacob from a barbarous people:2Judá vino a ser su santuario, Israel su imperio. Judea was made his sanctuary; Israel was made his power.3El mar, al ver, huyó; el Jordán volvió atrás. The sea looked, and it fled. The Jordan was turned back again.4Los montes saltaron como carneros, los collados como corderillos. The mountains exulted like rams, and the hills like lambs among the sheep.5¿Qué tienes, mar, para huir y tú, Jordán, para volver atrás? What happened to you, O sea, so that you fled, and to you, O Jordan, so that you were turned back again?6¿Montes, para saltar como carneros; collados, como corderillos? What happened to you, O mountains, so that you exulted like rams, and to you, O hills, so that you exulted like lambs among the sheep?7Tiembla, oh tierra, ante la faz del Señor, ante la faz del Dios de Jacob, Before the face of the Lord, the earth was moved, before the face of the God of Jacob.8que convierte la peña en estanque, la roca en fuente de aguas. He converted the rock into pools of water, and the cliff into fountains of waters.9No a nosotros, Yahvé, no a nosotros, sino a tu Nombre da la gloria por tu misericordia y tu fidelidad. Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory.10Por qué habrían de decir los gentiles: “¿Dónde está el Dios de estos?” Give glory to your mercy and your truth, lest the Gentiles should say, “Where is their God?”11El Dios nuestro está en el cielo; Él hace todo cuanto quiere. But our God is in heaven. All things whatsoever that he has willed, he has done.12Los ídolos de aquellos son plata y oro, hechura de mano de hombre: The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the works of the hands of men.13tienen boca, pero no hablan; tienen ojos, mas no ven; They have mouths, and do not speak; they have eyes, and do not see.14tienen orejas y no oyen; tienen narices y no huelen; They have ears, and do not hear; they have noses, and do not smell.15tienen manos y no palpan, tienen pies y no andan; y de su garganta no sale voz. They have hands, and do not feel; they have feet, and do not walk. Neither will they cry out with their throat.16Semejantes a ellos serán quienes los hacen, quienquiera confía en ellos. Let those who make them become like them, along with all who trust in them.17La casa de Israel confía en Yahvé; Él es su auxilio y su escudo. The house of Israel has hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector.18La casa de Aarón confía en Yahvé; Él es su auxilio y su escudo. The house of Aaron has hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector.19Los temerosos de Yahvé confían en Yahvé; Él es su auxilio y su escudo. Those who fear the Lord have hoped in the Lord. He is their helper and their protector.20Yahvé se acuerda de nosotros y nos bendecirá: bendecirá a la casa de Israel, bendecirá a la casa de Aarón. The Lord has been mindful of us, and he has blessed us. He has blessed the house of Israel. He has blessed the house of Aaron.21Bendecirá a los que temen a Yahvé, tanto a pequeños como a grandes. He has blessed all who fear the Lord, the small with the great.22Yahvé os multiplicará a vosotros y a vuestros hijos. May the Lord add blessings upon you: upon you, and upon your sons.23Sois benditos del Señor que hizo el cielo y la tierra. Blessed are you by the Lord, who made heaven and earth.24El cielo es cielo de Yahvé; mas dio la tierra a los hijos de los hombres. The heaven of heaven is for the Lord, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.25Los muertos no alaban a Yahvé, ninguno de los que bajan al sepulcro. The dead will not praise you, Lord, and neither will all those who descend into Hell.26Nosotros, en cambio, bendecimos a Yah, desde ahora y para siempre. But we who live will bless the Lord, from this time forward, and even forever.
