Salmos 128
1Cántico gradual. Mucho me han combatido desde mi mocedad, exclame ahora Israel; A Canticle in steps. They have often fought against me from my youth, let Israel now say:2mucho me combatieron desde mi mocedad, mas no concluyeron conmigo. they have often fought against me from my youth, yet they could not prevail over me.3Sobre mis espaldas araron los aradores; abrieron largos surcos; The sinners have made fabrications behind my back. They have prolonged their iniquity.4mas Yahvé, el Justo, ha cortado las coyundas de los impíos. The just Lord will cut the necks of sinners.5Retrocedan confundidos cuantos odian a Sión. Let all those who hate Zion be confounded and turned backwards.6Sean como la hierba de los tejados, que se seca antes de crecer. Let them be like grass on the rooftops, which withers before it can be pulled up:7No llena de ella su mano el segador, ni su regazo el que hace gavillas. with it, he who reaps does not fill his hand and he who gathers sheaves does not fill his bosom.8No dicen los transeúntes: “La bendición de Yahvé sea sobre vosotros.” “Os bendecimos en el Nombre de Yahvé.” And those who were passing by have not said to them: “The blessing of the Lord be upon you. We have blessed you in the name of the Lord.”
