1De David. Quiero celebrarte, Yahvé, con todo mi corazón, porque oíste las palabras de mi boca; quiero cantarte delante de los reyes. Of David himself. O Lord, I will confess to you with my whole heart, for you have heard the words of my mouth. I will sing psalms to you in the sight of the Angels.2Me postraré ante tu santo Templo, y alabaré tu Nombre por tu misericordia y tu fidelidad; porque has engrandecido tu Palabra sobre todas las cosas. I will adore before your holy temple, and I will confess your name: it is above your mercy and your truth. For you have magnified your holy name above all.3El día en que (te) invoqué Tú me oíste y multiplicaste la fuerza en mi alma. On whatever day that I will call upon you: hear me. You will multiply virtue in my soul.4Te alabarán, Yahvé, todos los reyes de la tierra cuando hayan oído los oráculos de tu boca; May all the kings of the earth confess to you, O Lord. For they have heard all the words of your mouth.5y cantarán los caminos de Yahvé: “Grande es ciertamente la gloria de Yahvé. And let them sing in accordance with the ways of the Lord. For great is the glory of the Lord.6Sí, Yahvé, siendo excelso, pone los ojos en el humilde y mira como lejos de sí al soberbio.” For the Lord is exalted, and he looks with favor on the humble. But the lofty he knows from a distance.7Cuando camino en medio de la tribulación, Tú conservas mi vida; tiendes tu mano contra la ira de mis enemigos, y tu diestra me salva.
