1Al maestro de coro. Salmo de David. Unto the end. A Psalm of David.2Los cielos atestiguan la gloria de Dios; y el firmamento predica las obras que Él ha hecho. The heavens describe the glory of God, and the firmament announces the work of his hands.3Cada día transmite al siguiente este mensaje, y una noche lo hace conocer a la otra. The justice of the Lord is right, rejoicing hearts. The precepts of the Lord are brilliant, enlightening the eyes.10El temor de Yahvé es santo, permanece para siempre. Los juicios de Yahvé son la verdad, todos son la justicia misma, The fear of the Lord is holy, enduring for all generations. The judgments of the Lord are true, justified in themselves:11más codiciables que el oro, oro abundante y finísimo; más sabrosos que la miel que destila de los panales. desirable beyond gold and many precious stones, and sweeter than honey and the honeycomb.12También tu siervo es iluminado por ellos, y en su observancia halla gran galardón. For, indeed, your servant keeps them, and in keeping them, there are many rewards.13Mas ¿quién es el que conoce sus defectos? Purifícame de los que no advierto. Who can understand transgression? From my hidden faults, cleanse me, O Lord,14Preserva a tu siervo, para que nunca domine en mí la soberbia. Entonces seré íntegro, y estaré libre del gran pecado. and from those of others, spare your servant. If they will have no dominion over me, then I will be immaculate, and I will be cleansed from the greatest transgression.15Hallen favor ante Ti estas palabras de mi boca y los anhelos de mi corazón, oh Yahvé, Roca mía y Redentor mío. And the eloquence of my mouth will be so as to please, along with the meditation of my heart, in your sight, forever, O Lord, my helper and my redeemer.
