1De David. Salmo. De Yahvé es la tierra y cuanto ella contiene; el orbe y cuantos lo habitan. For the First Sabbath. A Psalm of David. The earth and all its fullness belong to the Lord: the whole world and all that dwells in it.2Porque Él la asentó sobre mares y la afirmó sobre corrientes. For he has founded it upon the seas, and he has prepared it upon the rivers.3¿Quién será digno de ascender al monte de Yahvé? y ¿quién estará en su santuario? Who will ascend to the mountain of the Lord? And who will stand in his holy place?4Aquel que tiene inmaculadas las manos y puro el corazón, que no inclinó su ánimo a la vanidad [ni juró con doblez]; The innocent of hands and the clean of heart, who has not received his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbor.5él recibirá la bendición de Yahvé, y la justicia de Dios su Salvador. He will receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God, his Savior.6Esta es la generación de los que lo buscan, de los que buscan tu faz, (Dios de) Jacob. This is the generation that seeks him, that seeks the face of the God of Jacob.7¡Levantad, oh puertas, vuestros dinteles, y alzaos, portones antiquísimos, para que entre el Rey de la gloria! Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, eternal gates. And the King of Glory shall enter.8¿Quién es este Rey de la gloria? Yahvé fuerte y poderoso; Yahvé, poderoso en la batalla. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord who is strong and powerful; the Lord powerful in battle.9¡Levantad, oh puertas, vuestros dinteles, y alzaos, portones antiquísimos, para que entre el Rey de la gloria! Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, eternal gates. And the King of Glory shall enter.10¿Quién es este Rey de la gloria? Yahvé Dios de los ejércitos: Él mismo es el Rey de la gloria. Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of virtue. He himself is the King of Glory.
