1De David. A Ti, Yahvé, Dios mío, elevo mi alma; Unto the end. A Psalm of David. To you, Lord, I have lifted up my soul.2en Ti confío, no sea yo confundido; no se gocen a costa mía mis enemigos. In you, my God, I trust. Let me not be put to shame.3No, ninguno que espera en Ti es confundido. Confundido queda el que locamente se aparta de Ti. And do not let my enemies laugh at me. For all who remain with you will not be confounded.4Muéstrame tus caminos, oh Yahvé, indícame tus sendas; May all those who act unjustly over nothing be confounded. O Lord, demonstrate your ways to me, and teach me your paths.5condúceme a tu verdad e instrúyeme, porque Tú eres el Dios que me salva, y estoy siempre esperándote. Direct me in your truth, and teach me. For you are God, my Savior, and I remain with you all day long.6Acuérdate, Yahvé, de tus misericordias, y de tus bondades de todos los tiempos. O Lord, remember your compassion and your mercies, which are from ages past.7No recuerdes los pecados de mi mocedad, [ni mis ofensas]; según tu benevolencia acuérdate de mí, por tu bondad, oh Yahvé. Do not remember the offenses of my youth and my ignorances. Remember me according to your mercy, because of your goodness, O Lord.8Yahvé es benigno y es recto; por eso da a los pecadores una ley para el camino; The Lord is sweet and righteous. Because of this, he will grant a law to those who fall short in the way.9guía en la justicia a los humildes, y amaestra a los dóciles en sus vías. He will direct the mild in judgment. He will teach the meek his ways.10Todos los caminos de Yahvé son misericordia y fidelidad para cuantos buscan su alianza y sus disposiciones. All the ways of the Lord are mercy and truth, to those who yearn for his covenant and his testimonies.11Por la gloria de tu Nombre, oh Yahvé, Tú perdonarás mi culpa, aunque es muy grande. Because of your name, O Lord, you will pardon my sin, for it is great.12¿Hay algún hombre que tema a Yahvé? A ese le mostrará Él qué senda elegir; Which is the man who fears the Lord? He has established a law for him, on the way that he has chosen.13reposará su alma rodeada de bienes, y su descendencia poseerá la tierra. His soul will dwell upon good things, and his offspring will inherit the earth.14Yahvé concede intimidad familiar a los que le temen; les da a conocer (las promesas de) su alianza. The Lord is a firmament to those who fear him, and his covenant will be made manifest to them.15Mis ojos están siempre puestos en Yahvé porque Él saca mis pies del lazo. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will pull my feet from the snare.16Mírame Tú y tenme lástima, porque soy miserable y estoy solo. Look upon me and have mercy on me; for I am alone and poor.17Ensancha mi corazón angustiado, sácame de mis estrecheces. The troubles of my heart have been multiplied. Deliver me from my needfulness.18Mira que estoy cargado y agobiado, y perdona Tú todos mis delitos. See my lowliness and my hardship, and release all my offenses.19Repara en mis enemigos, porque son muchos y me odian con odio feroz. Consider my enemies, for they have been multiplied, and they have hated me with an unjust hatred.20Cuida Tú mi alma y sálvame; no tenga yo que sonrojarme de haber acudido a Ti. Preserve my soul and rescue me. I will not be ashamed, for I have hoped in you.21Los íntegros y justos están unidos conmigo, porque espero en Ti. The innocent and the righteous have adhered to me, because I have remained with you.22Oh Yahvé, libra a Israel de todas sus tribulaciones. Free Israel, O God, from all his tribulations.
