1Al maestro de coro. Salmo de David. Himno. Unto the end. A Psalm of David. A Canticle of Jeremiah and Ezekiel to the people of the captivity, when they began to go into exile.2A Ti, oh Dios, es debida la alabanza en Sión, y a Ti se han de cumplir los votos. O God, a hymn adorns you in Zion, and a vow will be repaid to you in Jerusalem.3A Ti, que oyes las plegarias, a Ti irá toda carne, a causa de los pecados. Hear my prayer: all flesh will come to you.4Prevalecen contra nosotros nuestras iniquidades, mas Tú las perdonas. Words of iniquity have prevailed over us. And you will pardon our impieties.5Dichoso aquel a quien Tu elijas y atraigas, para que habite en tus atrios. Nos hartaremos de los bienes de tu casa y de la santidad de tu Templo. Blessed is he whom you have chosen and taken up. He will dwell in your courts. We will be filled with the good things of your house. Holy is your temple:6En tu justicia nos escuchas con estupendas señales, oh Dios salvador nuestro, esperanza de todos los confines de la tierra y de los más lejanos mares. wonderful in equity. Hear us, O God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of a sea far away.7Con tu fuerza consolidas los montes, revestido de poder. You prepare the mountains in your virtue, wrapped with power.8Sosiegas el furor de los mares, el estruendo de sus ondas y el tumulto de las naciones. You stir up the depths of the sea, the noise of its waves. The nations will be troubled,9Se estremecen ante tus portentos los que habitan los confines de la tierra. Tú llenas de alegría el Oriente y el Occidente. and those who dwell at the limits will be afraid, before your signs. You will make the passing of morning and evening enjoyable.10Has visitado la tierra, la has embriagado y colmado de riquezas. El río de Dios rebosa de aguas; Tú preparas sus trigales, aparejando la tierra, You have visited the earth, and you have saturated it. You have enriched it in so many ways. The river of God has been filled with water. You have prepared their food. For thus is its preparation.11regando sus surcos, y allanando sus terrones; las ablandas con lluvias, y fecundas sus gérmenes. Drench its streams, multiply its fruits; it will spring up and rejoice in its showers.12Coronas de benignidad el año, y tus huellas destilan grosura. You will bless the crown of the year with your kindness, and your fields will be filled with abundance.13Las praderas del desierto destilan, y los collados se visten de exultación. The beauty of the desert will fatten, and the hills will be wrapped with exultation.14Llenos están los campos de rebaños, y los valles se cubren de mieses; se alegran y cantan. The rams of the sheep have been clothed, and the valleys will abound with grain. They will cry out; yes, they will even utter a hymn.
