For the octave.2Yahvé, no quieras argüirme en tu ira, ni corregirme en tu furor. O Lord, do not rebuke me in your fury, nor chastise me in your anger.3Ten misericordia de mí, oh Yahvé, porque soy débil; sáname, porque hasta mis huesos se sacuden Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my bones have become disturbed,4y mi alma está en el colmo de la turbación; mas Tú, Yahvé ¿hasta cuándo? and my soul has been very troubled. But as for you, Lord, when?5Vuélvete, oh Yahvé, libra mi alma; sálvame por tu misericordia, Turn to me, Lord, and rescue my soul. Save me because of your mercy.6porque en la muerte no hay quien se acuerde de Ti; ¿quién te alaba en el sepulcro? For there is no one in death who would be mindful of you. And who will confess to you in Hell?7Me hallo extenuado de tanto gemir, cada noche inundo en llanto mi almohada, y riego con mis lágrimas el lecho. I have labored in my groaning. Every night, with my tears, I will wash my bed and drench my blanket.8A causa de todos mis enemigos, van mis ojos apagándose de tristeza, y envejecen. My eye has been troubled by rage. I have grown old among all my enemies.9Apartaos de mí todos los que obráis la iniquidad; pues Yahvé ha oído la voz de mi llanto. Scatter before me, all you who work iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.10Yahvé escuchó mi demanda, Yahvé aceptó mi oración. The Lord has heard my supplication. The Lord has accepted my prayer.11Mis enemigos todos quedarán sonrojados y llenos de vergüenza; huirán súbitamente confundidos. Let all my enemies be ashamed and together be greatly troubled. May they be converted and become ashamed very quickly.
