A Psalm.2Pastor de Israel, escucha: Tú, que como un rebaño guías a José; Tú, que te sientas sobre querubines, The One who reigns over Israel: Be attentive. For you lead Joseph like a sheep. The One who sits upon the cherubim: Shine forth3muéstrate a los ojos de Efraím, de Benjamín y de Manasés. Despierta tu potencia, y ven a salvarnos. in the presence of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Awaken your power and draw near, so as to accomplish our salvation.4¡Oh Dios de los ejércitos, restáuranos! Haz resplandecer tu Rostro, y seremos salvos. Convert us, O God. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.5¡Oh Yahvé, Dios de los ejércitos!, ¿hasta cuándo seguirás airado contra la oración de tu pueblo? O Lord, God of hosts, how long will you be angry over the prayer of your servant?6Lo has alimentado con pan de llanto; le has dado a beber lágrimas en abundancia. How long will you feed us the bread of tears, and give us to drink a full measure of tears?7Nos has hecho objeto de contienda entre nuestros vecinos; y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros. You have set us as a contradiction to our neighbors. And our enemies have ridiculed us.8¡Oh Dios de los ejércitos, restáuranos! Haz resplandecer tu Rostro, y seremos salvos. O God of hosts, convert us. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.9De Egipto trasladaste tu viña, arrojaste a los gentiles, y la plantaste; You have transferred a vineyard from Egypt. You have cast out the Gentiles, and planted it.10preparaste el suelo para ella, y echó raíces y llenó la tierra. You were the leader of the journey in its sight. You planted its roots, and it filled the earth.11Los montes se cubrieron con su sombra, y con sus ramas los cedros altísimos. Its shadow covered the hills, and its branches covered the cedars of God.12Hasta el mar extendió sus sarmientos y hasta el gran río sus vástagos. It extended its new branches even to the sea, and its new seedlings even to the river.13¿Cómo es que derribaste sus vallados para que la vendimien cuantos pasan por el camino; So then, why have you destroyed its walls, so that all those who pass by the way gather its grapes?14la devaste el jabalí salvaje y las bestias del campo la devoren? The wild boar of the forest has trampled it, and a single wild beast has laid waste to it.15Retorna, oh Dios de los ejércitos, inclínate desde el cielo, y mira, y visita esta viña, Turn back, O God of hosts. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vineyard;16la cepa que tu diestra plantó, y el retoño que para ti conformaste. and complete what your right hand has planted, and look upon the son of man, whom you have confirmed for yourself.17Perezcan ante la amenaza de tu Rostro quienes la quemaron y la cortaron. Whatever has been set on fire and dug under will perish at the rebuke of your countenance.18Pósese tu mano sobre el Varón que está a tu diestra; sobre el Hijo del hombre que para Ti fortaleciste. Let your hand be over the man on your right, and over the son of man, whom you have confirmed for yourself.19Entonces no volveremos a apartarnos de Ti; Tú nos vivificarás, y nosotros proclamaremos tu Nombre. For we do not depart from you, and you will revive us. And we will invoke your name.20¡Oh Dios de los ejércitos, restáuranos! Haz resplandecer tu Rostro, y seremos salvos. O Lord, God of hosts, convert us. And reveal your face, and we will be saved.
