1Al maestro de coro. Por el tono de Hagghittoth (los lagares). De Asaf. Unto the end. For the wine and oil presses. A Psalm of Asaph himself.2Regocijémonos delante de Dios, nuestro Auxiliador; aclamad con júbilo al Dios de Jacob. Exult before God our helper. Sing joyfully to the God of Jacob.3Entonad himnos al son del címbalo, la cítara armoniosa y el salterio. Take up a psalm, and bring forth the timbrel: a pleasing Psalter with stringed instruments.4Tocad la trompeta en el novilunio y en el plenilunio, nuestro día de fiesta. Sound the trumpet at the new moon, on the noteworthy day of your solemnity,5Porque esta es ley en Israel, prescripción del Dios de Jacob. for it is a precept in Israel and a judgment for the God of Jacob.6Como rito recordatorio, la impuso Él a José, cuando salió (Él) contra la tierra de Egipto. I tested you with waters of contradiction.9Oye, pueblo mío, quiero amonestarte. ¡Ojalá me escucharas, oh Israel! My people, listen and I will call you to testify. If, O Israel, you will pay heed to me,10No haya en ti ningún otro Dios; no te encorves ante un dios ajeno. then there will be no new god among you, nor will you adore a foreign god.11Soy Yo Yahvé el Dios tuyo, que te saqué de la tierra de Egipto. Abre bien tu boca, y Yo la llenaré. For I am the Lord your God, who led you out of the land of Egypt. Widen your mouth, and I will fill it.12Pero mi pueblo no escuchó mi voz, e Israel no me obedeció. But my people did not hear my voice, and Israel was not attentive to me.13Por eso los entregué a la dureza de su corazón: a que anduvieran según sus apetitos. And so, I sent them away, according to the desires of their heart. They will go forth according to their own inventions.14¡Ah, si mi pueblo me oyera! ¡Si Israel siguiera mis caminos! If my people had heard me, if Israel had walked in my ways,15Cuán pronto humillaría Yo a sus enemigos, y extendería mi mano contra sus adversarios. I would have humbled their enemies, as if it were nothing, and I would have sent my hand upon those who troubled them.16Los que odian a Dios le rendirían homenaje, y su destino estaría fijado para siempre. The enemies of the Lord have lied to him, and their time will come, in every age.17Yo le daría a comer la flor del trigo y lo saciaría con miel de la peña.” And he fed them from the fat of the grain, and he saturated them with honey from the rock.
