A Psalm to the sons of Korah.²¡Oh cuan amable es tu morada, Yahvé de los ejércitos! How beloved are your tabernacles, O Lord of hosts!³Suspirando, desfalleciendo, anhela mi alma los atrios de Yahvé. Mi corazón y mi carne claman ansiosos hacia el Dios vivo. My soul longs and faints for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have exulted in the living God.⁴Hasta el gorrión halla una casa, y la golondrina un nido para poner sus polluelos, junto a tus altares, Yahvé de los ejércitos, Rey mío y Dios mío. For even the sparrow has found a home for himself, and the turtle-dove a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: your altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.⁵Dichosos los que moran en tu casa y te alaban sin cesar. Blessed are those who dwell in your house, O Lord. They will praise you from age to age.⁶Felices aquellos cuya fuerza viene de Ti, y tienen su corazón puesto en tu camino santo. Blessed is the man whose help is from you. In his heart, he is disposed to ascend⁷Atravesando el valle de lágrimas ellos lo convierten en lugar de manantiales, que la lluvia temprana cubrirá de bendiciones. from the valley of tears, from the place which he has determined.⁸Y suben con vigor creciente hasta que Dios se hace ver de ellos en Sión. O God, gaze upon our protector, and look upon the face of your Christ.¹¹Un día solo en tus atrios vale más que otros mil. Prefiero estar en el umbral de la Casa de mi Dios que habitar en los pabellones de los pecadores. For one day in your courts is better than thousands elsewhere. I have chosen to be lowly in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.¹²Porque sol y escudo es Yahvé Dios; Él da gracia y da gloria.
