Salmos 84

¹Para él maestro de coro. De los hijos de Coré. Salmo. Unto the end. A Psalm to the sons of Korah.²Oh Yahvé, has sido propicio a tu tierra, has trocado en bien la suerte de Jacob. O Lord, you have blessed your land. You have turned aside the captivity of Jacob.³Has quitado la iniquidad de tu pueblo, cubierto todos sus pecados. You have released the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sins.⁴Has puesto fin a todo tu resentimiento, desistido del furor de tu ira. You have mitigated all your wrath. You have turned aside from the wrath of your indignation.⁵Restáuranos, oh Dios, Salvador nuestro; aparta de nosotros tu indignación. Convert us, O God, our Savior, and turn your anger away from us.⁶¿Acaso estarás siempre enojado con nosotros? ¿Extenderás tu saña de generación en generación? Will you be angry with us forever? And will you extend your wrath from generation to generation?⁷¿No volverás Tú a darnos vida, para que tu pueblo se alegre en Ti? O God, you will turn back and revive us. And your people will rejoice in you.⁸Muéstranos, Yahvé, tu misericordia y envíanos tu salvación. O Lord, reveal to us your mercy, and grant to us your salvation.⁹Quiero escuchar lo que dirá Yahvé mi Dios; sus palabras serán de paz para su pueblo y para sus santos, y para los que de corazón se vuelvan a Él. I will listen to what the Lord God may be saying to me. For he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints, and to those who are being converted to the heart.¹⁰Sí, cercana está su salvación para los que le temen; y la Gloria fijará su morada en nuestro país. So then, truly his salvation is near to those who fear him, so that glory may inhabit our land.¹¹La misericordia y la fidelidad se saldrán al encuentro; se darán el ósculo la justicia y la paz. Mercy and truth have met each other. Justice and peace have kissed.¹²La fidelidad germinará de la tierra y la justicia se asomará desde el cielo. Truth has risen from the earth, and justice has gazed down from heaven.¹³El mismo Yahvé dará el bien y nuestra tierra dará su fruto. For so will the Lord give goodness, and our earth will give her fruit.¹⁴La justicia marchará ante Él y la salud sobre la huella de sus pasos. Justice will walk before him, and he will set his steps upon the way.
