Apocalipsis 10
1Y vi a otro ángel poderoso que descendía del cielo, envuelto en una nube, con el arco iris sobre su cabeza. Su rostro era como el sol, y sus pies como columnas de fuego. And I saw another strong Angel, descending from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet were like columns of fire.2Tenía en su mano un librito abierto, y puso su pie derecho sobre el mar, y el izquierdo sobre la tierra; And he held in his hand a small open book. And he stationed his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot upon the land.3y clamó con gran voz, como un león que ruge; y cuando hubo clamado, los siete truenos levantaron sus voces. And he cried out with a great voice, in the manner of a lion roaring. And when he had cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.4Y cuando hubieron hablado los siete truenos, iba yo a escribir; mas oí una voz del cielo que decía: “Sella lo que dijeron los siete truenos y no lo escribas”. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me: “Seal the things that the seven thunders have spoken, and do not write them.”5Entonces el ángel que yo había visto de pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra, alzó su mano derecha hacia el cielo, And the Angel, whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the land, lifted up his hand toward heaven.6y juró por Aquel que vive por los siglos de los siglos —que creó el cielo y cuanto hay en él, y la tierra y cuanto hay en ella, y el mar y cuanto hay en él— que ya no habrá más tiempo, And he swore by the One who lives forever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that are in it; and the earth, and the things that are in it; and the sea, and the things that are in it: that the time will not be any longer,7sino que en los días de la voz del séptimo ángel, cuando él vaya a tocar la trompeta, el misterio de Dios quedará consumado según la buena nueva que Él anunció a sus siervos los profetas. but in the days of the voice of the seventh Angel, when he shall begin to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God will be completed, just as he has proclaimed in the Gospel, through his servants the Prophets.8La voz que yo había oído del cielo me habló otra vez y dijo: “Ve y toma el libro abierto en la mano del ángel que está de pie sobre el mar y sobre la tierra”. And again, I heard a voice from heaven speaking with me and saying: “Go and receive the open book from the hand of the Angel who stands upon the sea and upon the land.”9Fui, pues, al ángel y le dije que me diera el librito. Y él me respondió: “Toma y cómelo; amargará tus entrañas, pero en tu boca será dulce como la miel”. And I went to the Angel, saying to him that he should give the book to me. And he said to me: “Receive the book and consume it. And it shall cause bitterness in your stomach, but in your mouth it shall be sweet like honey.”10Tomé el librito de la mano del ángel y lo comí; y era en mi boca dulce como la miel, mas habiéndolo comido quedaron mis entrañas llenas de amargura. And I received the book from the hand of the Angel, and I consumed it. And it was sweet like honey in my mouth. And when I had consumed it, my stomach was made bitter.11Me dijeron entonces: “Es menester que profetices de nuevo contra muchos pueblos y naciones y lenguas y reyes”. And he said to me, “It is necessary for you to prophesy again about many nations and peoples and languages and kings.”
