Apocalipsis 13
1Y del mar vi subir una bestia con diez cuernos y siete cabezas, y en sus cuernos diez diademas, y en sus cabezas nombres de blasfemia. And I saw a beast ascending from the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon its horns were ten diadems, and upon its heads were names of blasphemy.2La bestia que vi era semejante a una pantera; sus patas eran como de oso, y su boca como boca de león; y el dragón le pasó su poder y su trono y una gran autoridad. And the beast that I saw was similar to a leopard, and its feet were like the feet of a bear, and its mouth was like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave his own power and great authority to it.3Y (yo vi ) una de sus cabezas como si se le hubiese dado muerte; mas fue sanada de su golpe mortal, y maravillose toda la tierra, (y se fue) en pos de la bestia. And I saw that one of its heads seemed to be slain unto death, but his deadly wound was healed. And the entire world was in wonder following the beast.4Y adoraron al dragón, porque él había dado la autoridad a la bestia; y adoraron a la bestia, diciendo: “¿Quién cómo la bestia? y ¿quién puede hacerle guerra?” And they worshiped the dragon, who gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying: “Who is like the beast? And who would be able to fight with it?”5Y se le dio una boca que profería altanerías y blasfemias; y le fue dada autoridad para hacer su obra durante cuarenta y dos meses. And there was given to it a mouth, speaking great things and blasphemies. And authority was given to him to act for forty-two months.6Abrió, pues, su boca para blasfemar contra Dios, blasfemar de su Nombre, de su morada y de los que habitan en el cielo. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle and those who dwell in heaven.7Le fue permitido también hacer guerra a los santos y vencerlos; y le fue dada autoridad sobre toda tribu y pueblo y lengua y nación. And it was given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given to him over every tribe and people and language and nation.8Y lo adorarán (al dragón) todos los moradores de la tierra, aquellos cuyos nombres no están escritos, desde la fundación del mundo, en el libro de la vida del Cordero inmolado. And all who inhabit the earth worshiped the beast, those whose names have not been written, from the origin of the world, in the Book of Life of the Lamb who was slain.9Si alguno tiene oído, oiga: If anyone has an ear, let him hear.10si alguno ha de ir al cautiverio, irá al cautiverio; si alguno ha de morir a espada, a espada morirá. En esto está la paciencia y la fe de los santos. Whoever will be led into captivity, into captivity he goes. Whoever will kill with the sword, with the sword he must be killed. Here is the patient endurance and faith of the Saints.11Y vi otra bestia que subía de (bajo) la tierra. Tenía dos cuernos como un cordero, pero hablaba como dragón. And I saw another beast ascending from the land. And she had two horns like the Lamb, but she was speaking like the dragon.12Y la autoridad de la primera bestia la ejercía toda en presencia de ella. E hizo que la tierra y sus moradores adorasen a la bestia primera, que había sido sanada de su golpe mortal. And she acted with all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And she caused the earth, and those dwelling in it, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.13Obró también grandes prodigios, hasta hacer descender fuego del cielo a la tierra a la vista de los hombres. And she accomplished great signs, even so that she would cause fire to descend from the sky to the earth in the sight of men.14Y embaucó a los habitantes de la tierra con los prodigios que le fue dado hacer en presencia de la bestia, diciendo a los moradores de la tierra que debían erigir una estatua a la bestia que recibió el golpe de espada y revivió. And she seduced those living on the earth, by means of the signs that were given to her to perform in the sight of the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth that they should make an image of the beast who had a wound of the sword and yet lived.15Y le fue concedido animar la estatua de la bestia de modo que la estatua de la bestia también hablase e hiciese quitar la vida a cuantos no adorasen la estatua de la bestia. And it was given to her to give a spirit to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would speak. And she acted so that whoever would not worship the image of the beast would be slain.16E hizo poner a todos, pequeños y grandes, ricos y pobres, libres y siervos una marca impresa en la mano derecha o en la frente, And she will cause everyone, small and great, wealthy and poor, free and servant, to have a character on their right hand or on their foreheads,17a fin de que nadie pudiese comprar ni vender si no estaba marcado con el nombre de la bestia o el número de su nombre. so that no one may buy or sell, unless he has the character, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.18Aquí la sabiduría: quien tiene entendimiento calcule la cifra de la bestia. Porque es cifra de hombre: su cifra es seiscientos sesenta y seis. Here is wisdom. Whoever has intelligence, let him determine the number of the beast. For it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.
