Apocalipsis 16
1Oí una gran voz procedente del templo que decía a los siete ángeles: “Id y derramad sobre la tierra las siete copas de la ira de Dios”. And I heard a great voice from the temple, saying to the seven Angels: “Go forth and pour out the seven bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth.”2Fue el primero y derramó su copa sobre la tierra y se produjo una úlcera horrible y maligna en los hombres que tenían la marca de la bestia y adoraban su estatua. And the first Angel went forth and poured out his bowl upon the earth. And a severe and most grievous wound occurred upon the men who had the character of the beast, and upon those who adored the beast or its image.3Y el segundo derramó su copa sobre el mar, el cual se convirtió en sangre como la de un muerto, y todo ser viviente en el mar murió. And the second Angel poured out his bowl upon the sea. And it became like the blood of the dead, and every living creature in the sea died.4El tercero derramó su copa en los ríos y en las fuentes de las aguas y se convirtieron en sangre. And the third Angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and the sources of water, and these became blood.5Y oí decir al ángel de las aguas: “Justo eres, oh Tú que eres y que eras, oh Santo, en haber hecho este juicio. And I heard the Angel of the waters saying: “You are just, O Lord, who is and who was: the Holy One who has judged these things.6Porque sangre de santos y profetas derramaron, y sangre les has dado a beber: lo merecen”. For they have shed the blood of the Saints and the Prophets, and so you have given them blood to drink. For they deserve this.”7Y oí al altar que decía: “Sí, Señor, Dios Todopoderoso, fieles y justos son tus juicios”. And from the altar, I heard another one, saying, “Even now, O Lord God Almighty, your judgments are true and just.”8El cuarto derramó su copa sobre el sol, al cual fue dado abrasar a los hombres por su fuego. And the fourth Angel poured out his bowl upon the sun. And it was given to him to afflict men with heat and fire.9Y abrasáronse los hombres con grandes ardores, y blasfemaron del Nombre de Dios, que tiene poder sobre estas plagas; mas no se arrepintieron para darle gloria a Él. And men were scorched by the great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God, who holds power over these afflictions, but they did not repent, so as to give him glory.10El quinto derramó su copa sobre el trono de la bestia, y el reino de ella se cubrió de tinieblas, y se mordían de dolor las lenguas. And the fifth Angel poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast. And his kingdom became darkened, and they gnawed at their tongues out of anguish.11Y blasfemaron del Dios del cielo, a causa de sus dolores y de sus úlceras, pero no se arrepintieron de sus obras. And they blasphemed the God of heaven, because of their anguish and wounds, but they did not repent from their works.12El sexto derramó su copa sobre el gran río Eúfrates, y secose su agua, para que estuviese expedito el camino a los reyes del oriente. And the sixth Angel poured out his bowl upon that great river Euphrates. And its water dried up, so that a way might be prepared for the kings from the rising of the sun.13Y vi cómo de la boca del dragón y de la boca de la bestia y de la boca del falso profeta salían tres espíritus inmundos en figura de ranas And I saw, from the mouth of the dragon, and from the mouth of the beast, and from the mouth of the false prophetess, three unclean spirits go out in the manner of frogs.14Son espíritus de demonios que obran prodigios y van a los reyes de todo el orbe a juntarlos para la batalla del gran día del Dios Todopoderoso. — For these are the spirits of the demons that were causing the signs. And they advanced to the kings of the entire earth, to gather them for battle on the great day of Almighty God.15He aquí que vengo como ladrón. Dichoso el que vela y guarda sus vestidos, para no tener que andar desnudo y mostrar su vergüenza—. “Behold, I arrive like a thief. Blessed is he who is vigilant and who preserves his vestment, lest he walk naked and they see his disgrace.”16Y los congregaron en el lugar que en hebreo se llama Harmagedón. And he shall gather them together at a place which is called, in Hebrew, Armageddon.17El séptimo (ángel) derramó su copa en el aire, y salió una poderosa voz del templo, desde el trono [en el cielo] que decía: “Hecho está”. And the seventh Angel poured out his bowl upon the air. And a great voice went out of the temple from the throne, saying: “It is done.”18Y hubo relámpagos y voces y truenos, y se produjo un gran terremoto cual nunca lo hubo desde que hay hombres sobre la tierra. Así fue de grande este poderoso terremoto. And there were lightnings and voices and thunders. And a great earthquake occurred, of a kind such as has never happened since men have been upon the earth, so great was this kind of earthquake.19Y la gran ciudad fue dividida en tres partes, y las ciudades de los gentiles cayeron, y Babilonia la grande fue recordada delante de Dios, para darle el cáliz del vino de su furiosa ira. And the Great City became divided into three parts. And the cities of the Gentiles fell. And Babylon the great came to mind before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the indignation of his wrath.20Y desaparecieron todas las islas, y no hubo más montañas. And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.21Y cayó del cielo sobre los hombres granizo del tamaño de un talento; y los hombres blasfemaron de Dios por la plaga del granizo, porque esta plaga fue sobremanera grande. And hail as heavy as a talent descended from the sky upon men. And men blasphemed God, because of the affliction of the hail, for it was exceedingly great.
