Apocalipsis 20
1Y vi un ángel que descendía del cielo y tenía en su mano la llave del abismo y una gran cadena. And I saw an Angel, descending from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the abyss and a great chain.2Y se apoderó del dragón, la serpiente antigua, que es el Diablo y Satanás, y lo encadenó por mil años, And he apprehended the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and he bound him for a thousand years.3y lo arrojó al abismo que cerró y sobre el cual puso sello para que no sedujese más a las naciones, hasta que se hubiesen cumplido los mil años, después de lo cual ha de ser soltado por un poco de tiempo. And he cast him into the abyss, and he closed and sealed it, so that he would no longer seduce the nations, until the thousand years are completed. And after these things, he must be released for a brief time.4Y vi tronos; y sentáronse en ellos, y les fue dado juzgar, y (vi) a las almas de los que habían sido degollados a causa del testimonio de Jesús y a causa de la Palabra de Dios, y a los que no habían adorado a la bestia ni a su estatua, ni habían aceptado la marca en sus frentes ni en sus manos; y vivieron y reinaron con Cristo mil años. And I saw thrones. And they sat upon them. And judgment was given to them. And the souls of those beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the Word of God, and who did not adore the beast, nor his image, nor accept his character on their foreheads or on their hands: they lived and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.5Los restantes de los muertos no tornaron a vivir hasta que se cumplieron los mil años. Esta es la primera resurrección. The rest of the dead did not live, until the thousand years are completed. This is the First Resurrection.6¡Bienaventurado y santo el que tiene parte en la primera resurrección! Sobre estos no tiene poder la segunda muerte, sino que serán sacerdotes de Dios y de Cristo, con el cual reinarán los mil años. Blessed and holy is he who takes part in the First Resurrection. Over these the second death has no power. But they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and they shall reign with him for a thousand years.7Cuando se hayan cumplido los mil años Satanás será soltado de su prisión, And when the thousand years will have been completed, Satan shall be released from his prison, and he will go out and seduce the nations which are upon the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog. And he will gather them together for battle, those whose number is like the sand of the sea.8y se irá a seducir a los pueblos que están en los cuatro ángulos de la tierra, a Gog y Magog a fin de juntarlos para la guerra, el número de los cuales es como la arena del mar. And they climbed across the breadth of the earth, and they encompassed the camp of the Saints and the Beloved City.9Subieron a la superficie de la tierra y cercaron el campamento de los santos y la ciudad amada; mas del cielo bajó fuego [de parte de Dios] y los devoró. And fire from God descended from heaven and devoured them. And the devil, who seduced them, was cast into the pool of fire and sulphur,10Y el Diablo, que los seducía, fue precipitado en el lago de fuego y azufre, donde están también la bestia y el falso profeta; y serán atormentados día y noche por los siglos de los siglos. where both the beast and the false prophetess shall be tortured, day and night, forever and ever.11Y vi un gran trono esplendente y al sentado en él, de cuya faz huyó la tierra y también el cielo; y no se halló más lugar para ellos. And I saw a great white throne, and One sitting upon it, from whose sight earth and heaven fled, and no place was found for them.12Y vi a los muertos, los grandes y los pequeños, en pie ante el trono y se abrieron libros —se abrió también otro libro que es el de la vida— y fueron juzgados los muertos, de acuerdo con lo escrito en los libros, según sus obras. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing in view of the throne. And books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged by those things that had been written in the books, according to their works.13Y el mar entregó los muertos que había en él; también la muerte y el Hades entregaron los muertos que había en ellos; y fueron juzgados cada uno según sus obras. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it. And death and Hell gave up their dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.14Y la muerte y el Hades fueron arrojados en el lago de fuego. Esta es la segunda muerte: el lago de fuego. And Hell and death were cast into the pool of fire. This is the second death.15Si alguno no se halló inscrito en el libro de la vida, fue arrojado al lago de fuego. And whoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the pool of fire.
