1Y vi en la diestra de Aquel que estaba sentado sobre el trono un libro, escrito por dentro y por fuera, y sellado con siete sellos. And in the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne, I saw a book, written inside and out, sealed with seven seals.2Y vi a un ángel poderoso que, a gran voz, pregonaba: “¿Quién es digno de abrir el libro y desatar sus sellos?” And I saw a strong Angel, proclaiming with a great voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?”3Y nadie en el cielo, ni en la tierra, ni debajo de la tierra, podía abrir el libro, ni aun fijar los ojos en él. And no one was able, neither in heaven, nor on earth, nor under the earth, to open the book, nor to gaze upon it.4Y yo lloraba mucho porque nadie era hallado digno de abrir el libro, ni de fijar en él los ojos. And I wept greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book, nor to see it.5Entonces me dijo uno de los ancianos: “No llores. Mira: el León de la tribu de Judá, la raíz de David, ha triunfado, de suerte que abra el libro y sus siete sellos”. And one of the elders said to me: “Weep not. Behold, the lion from the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has prevailed to open the book and to break its seven seals.”6Y vi que en medio delante del trono y de los cuatro vivientes y de los ancianos estaba de pie un Cordero como degollado, que tenía siete cuernos y siete ojos, que son los siete espíritus de Dios en misión por toda la tierra. And I saw, and behold, in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb was standing, as if it were slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God, sent forth to all the earth.7El cual vino y tomó (el libro) de la diestra de Aquel que estaba sentado en el trono. And he approached and received the book from the right hand of the One sitting upon the throne.8Y cuando hubo tomado el libro, los cuatro seres vivientes y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron ante el Cordero, teniendo cada cual una cítara y copas de oro llenas de perfumes, que son las oraciones de los santos. And when he had opened the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having stringed instruments, as well as golden bowls full of fragrances, which are the prayers of the saints.9Y cantaban un cántico nuevo, diciendo: “Tú eres digno de tomar el libro, y de abrir sus sellos; porque Tú fuiste inmolado, y con tu sangre compraste para Dios (hombres) de toda tribu y lengua y pueblo y nación; And they were singing a new canticle, saying: “O Lord, you are worthy to receive the book and to open its seals, because you were slain and have redeemed us for God, by your blood, from every tribe and language and people and nation.10y los has hecho para nuestro Dios un reino y sacerdotes, y reinarán sobre la tierra” And you have made us into a kingdom and into priests for our God, and we shall reign over the earth.”11Y miré y oí voz de muchos ángeles alrededor del trono y de los vivientes y de los ancianos; y era el número de ellos miradas de miríadas, y millares de millares; And I saw, and I heard the voice of many Angels surrounding the throne and the living creatures and the elders, (and their number was thousands of thousands)12los cuales decían a gran voz: “Digno es el Cordero que fue inmolado de recibir poder, riqueza, sabiduría, fuerza, honor, gloria y alabanza”. saying with a great voice: “The Lamb who was slain is worthy to receive power, and divinity, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.”13Y a todas las criatura que hay en el cielo, sobre la tierra, debajo de la tierra y en el mar, y a todas las cosas que hay en ellos oí que decían: “Al que está sentado en el trono, y al Cordero, la alabanza, el honor, la gloria y el imperio por los siglos de los siglos”. And every creature that is in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, and all that is within the sea: I heard them all saying: “To the One sitting upon the throne and to the Lamb be blessing, and honor, and glory, and authority, forever and ever.”14Y los cuatro vivientes decían: “Amén”. Y los ancianos se postraron y adoraron. And the four living creatures were saying, “Amen.” And the twenty-four elders fell down on their faces, and they adored the One who lives forever and ever.
