Apocalipsis 6
1Y vi cuando el Cordero abrió el primero de los siete sellos, y oí que uno de los cuatro vivientes decía, como con voz de trueno: “Ven”. And I saw that the Lamb had opened one of the seven seals. And I heard one of the four living creatures saying, in a voice like thunder: “Draw near and see.”2Y miré, y he aquí un caballo blanco, y el que lo montaba tenía un arco, y se le dio una corona; y salió venciendo y para vencer. And I saw, and behold, a white horse. And he who was sitting upon it was holding a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went forth conquering, so that he might prevail.3Y cuando abrió el segundo sello, oí al segundo ser viviente que decía: “Ven”. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying: “Draw near and see.”4Y salió otro caballo, color de fuego, y al que lo montaba le fue dado quitar de la tierra la paz, y hacer que se matasen unos a otros; y se le dio una gran espada. And another horse went forth, which was red. And it was granted to him who was sitting upon it that he would take peace from the earth, and that they would kill one another. And a great sword was given to him.5Y cuando abrió el tercer sello, oí al tercero de los vivientes que decía: “Ven”. Y miré, y he aquí un caballo negro; y el que lo montaba tenía en su mano una balanza. And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying: “Draw near and see.” And behold, a black horse. And he who was sitting upon it was holding a balance in his hand.6Y oí como una voz en medio de los cuatro vivientes que decía: “A un peso el kilo de trigo; a un peso, tres kilos de cebada; en cuanto al aceite y al vino no los toques”. And I heard something like a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A double measure of wheat for a denarius, and three double measures of barley for a denarius, but do no harm to wine and oil.”7Y cuando abrió el cuarto sello oí la voz del cuarto viviente que decía: “Ven”. And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying: “Draw near and see.”8Y miré, y he aquí un caballo pálido, y el que lo montaba tenía por nombre “la Muerte”; y el Hades seguía en pos de él; y se les dio potestad sobre la cuarta parte de la tierra para matar a espada y con hambre y con peste y por medio de las bestias de la tierra. And behold, a pale horse. And he who was sitting upon it, his name was Death, and Hell was following him. And authority was given to him over the four parts of the earth, to destroy by the sword, by famine, and by death, and by the creatures of the earth.9Y cuando abrió el quinto sello, vi debajo del altar las almas de los degollados por la causa de la Palabra de Dios y por el testimonio que mantuvieron; And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw, under the altar, the souls of those who had been slain because of the Word of God and because of the testimony that they held.10y clamaron a gran voz, diciendo: “¿Hasta cuándo, oh Señor, Santo y Veraz, tardas en juzgar y vengar nuestra sangre en los habitantes de la tierra?” And they were crying out with a loud voice, saying: “How long, O Holy and True Lord, will you not judge and not vindicate our blood against those who dwell upon the earth?”11Y les fue dada una túnica blanca a cada uno; y se les dijo que descansasen todavía por poco tiempo hasta que se completase el número de sus consiervos y de sus hermanos que habían de ser matados como ellos. And white robes were given to each of them. And they were told that they should rest for a brief time, until their fellow servants and their brothers, who were to be slain even as they were slain, would be completed.12Y vi cuando abrió el sexto sello, y se produjo un gran terremoto, y el sol se puso negro como un saco de crin, y la luna entera se puso como sangre; And when he had opened the sixth seal, I saw, and behold, a great earthquake occurred. And the sun became black, like a haircloth sack, and the entire moon became like blood.13y las estrellas del cielo cayeron a la tierra, como deja caer sus brevas la higuera sacudida por un fuerte viento. And the stars from heaven fell upon the earth, just as when a fig tree, shaken by a great wind, drops its immature figs.14Y el cielo fue cediendo como un rollo que se envuelve, y todas las montañas e islas fueron removidas de sus lugares. And heaven receded, like a scroll being rolled up. And every mountain, and the islands, were moved from their places.15Y los reyes de la tierra y los magnates y los jefes, militares y los ricos y los fuertes y todo siervo y todo libre se escondieron en las cuevas y entre los peñascos de las montañas. And the kings of the earth, and the rulers, and the military leaders, and the wealthy, and the strong, and everyone, servant and free, hid themselves in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.16Y decían a las montañas y a los peñascos: “Caed sobre nosotros y escondednos de la faz de Aquel que está sentado en el trono y de la ira del Cordero; And they said to the mountains and the rocks: “Fall over us and hide us from the face of the One sitting upon the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.17porque ha llegado el gran día del furor de ellos y ¿quién puede estar en pie?” For the great day of their wrath has arrived. And who will be able to stand?”
