Zacarías 4
1Vino de nuevo el ángel que había hablado conmigo, y me despertó como a hombre a quien se despierta de su sueño. And the angel who had been speaking with me returned, and he awakened me, like a man who is awakened from his sleep.2Y me dijo: «¿Qué es lo que ves?» Respondí: «Miré y vi un candelabro, todo de oro, y encima de él su recipiente, y sus siete tubos para las lámparas que hay en el candelabro, And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I looked, and behold, a candlestick entirely in gold, and its lamp was at its top, and seven oil lamps of it were upon it, and there were seven funnels for the oil lamps that were at its top.3y junto a él dos olivos, uno a la derecha del recipiente, y el otro a su izquierda». And there were two olive trees upon it: one to the right of the lamp, and one to its left.”4Entonces, dirigiéndome al ángel que hablaba conmigo; le pregunté: «¿Qué es esto?, señor mío». And I answered and spoke to the angel who was speaking with me, saying, “What are these, my lord?”5Respondió el ángel que conmigo hablaba, y me dijo: «¿Tú no sabes lo que es esto?» «No, señor mío», dije yo. And the angel who was speaking with me answered, and he said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”6Tomó él la palabra y me dijo así: «Esta es la palabra de Yahvé a Zorobabel: No por medio de un ejército ni por la fuerza, sino por mi Espíritu, dice Yahvé de los ejércitos. And he answered and spoke to me, saying: This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying: Not by an army, nor by might, but in my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.7¿Qué eres tú, oh monte grande, ante Zorobabel? Serás reducido a una llanura; y él colocará la piedra de remate en medio de las aclamaciones (del pueblo): ¡Gracia, gracia sobre ella! What are you, great mountain, in the sight of Zerubbabel? You are among the plains. And he will lead out the primary stone, and he will give equal grace to its grace.8Y me llegó la palabra de parte de Yahvé, diciendo: And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:9Las manos de Zorobabel echaron los fundamentos de esta Gasa, y sus manos la acabarán; por esto conocerás que Yahvé de los ejércitos me ha enviado a vosotros. The hand of Zerubbabel has founded this house, and his hands will complete it. And you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you.10Porque los que despreciaron el tiempo de los humildes (comienzos) , verán gozosos la plomada en la mano de Zorobabel. Aquellos siete (ojos) son los ojos de Yahvé que recorren toda la tierra». For who has despised the little days? And they will rejoice and will see the silver and lead stone in the hand of Zerubbabel. These are the seven eyes of the Lord, which roam quickly through all the earth.11Yo respondí (al ángel) preguntándole: «¿Qué significan estos dos olivos a la derecha y a la izquierda del candelabro?» And I responded and said to him, “What are these two olive trees to the right of the candlestick, and to its left?”12Y pregunté de nuevo y dije: «¿Qué significan las dos ramas de olivo que por medio de los dos tubos de oro vierten de sí el dorado aceite?» And I responded a second time and said to him, “What are the two olive branches, which are next to the two golden ridges, in which are the pouring spouts of gold?”13Me contestó diciendo: «Pues qué, ¿no sabes tú qué son estos?» A lo cual respondí: «No, señor mío». And he spoke to me, saying, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”14Entonces dijo: «Estos son los dos ungidos que están ante el Señor de toda la tierra». And he said, “These are the two sons of oil, who attend before the Sovereign of all the earth.”
