Zacarías 5
1Volví a alzar mis ojos, y miré, y he aquí un rollo que volaba. And I turned and lifted up my eyes. And I saw, and behold, a book flying.2Y me dijo: «¿Qué es lo que ves?» «Veo, dije yo, un rollo que vuela; tiene veinte codos de largo, y diez codos de ancho». And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a book flying. Its length is twenty cubits, and its width is ten cubits.”3Y me dijo: «Esta es la maldición que se echa sobre la superficie de toda la tierra; porque todo ladrón será exterminado, según lo (escrito) en esta parte (del rollo) y todo perjuro será exterminado, según (lo escrito) en la otra parte. And he said to me, “This is the curse that goes forth over the face of the whole earth. For every thief will be judged, just as it has been written there, and everyone who swears by this, will be judged in like manner.”4Yo soltaré esta (maldición), dice Yahvé de los ejércitos; e invadirá la casa del ladrón, y la casa del que jura en falso por mi Nombre; y quedará en su casa, y la consumirá hasta su maderaje y sus piedras». I will bring it forth, says the Lord of hosts, and it will approach to the house of the thief, and to the house of him who swears falsely by my name, and it will remain in the midst of his house and will consume it, with its wood and its stones.5Y salió fuera el ángel que hablaba conmigo, y me dijo: «Alza tus ojos, y mira qué es esto que aparece». And the angel had departed, who was speaking with me. And he said to me, “Lift up your eyes, and see what this is, that goes forth.”6Y pregunté: «¿Qué es?» Respondió: «Es un efa que aparece». Y agregó: «Esta es la iniquidad que cometen en todo el país». And I said, “What, then, is it?” And he said, “This is a container going forth.” And he said, “This is their eye in all the earth.”7Y vi cómo alzaban una tapa de plomo, y (vi) también a una mujer sentada en medio del efa. And behold, a talent of lead was being carried; and behold, one woman sitting in the middle of the container.8Y dijo: «Esta es la impiedad». Y la echó al fondo del efa, y tapó la boca del mismo con la masa de plomo. And he said, “This is impiety.” And he cast her into the middle of the container, and he sent the weight of lead into its mouth.9Luego alce los ojos, y miré, y he aquí que venían dos mujeres. Soplaba el viento en sus alas, que eran como las de la cigüeña; y alzaron el efa entre la tierra y el cielo. And I lifted up my eyes and I saw. And behold, two women were departing, and a spirit was in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a kite, and they lifted up the container between earth and heaven.10Yo pregunté al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿A dónde llevan el efa?» And I said to the angel who was speaking with me, “Where are they taking the container?”11Y me contestó: «A la tierra de Sinear, para edificarle una casa. Allí la establecerán, y quedará sentada sobre su base». And he said to me, “To a house that may be built for it in the land of Shinar, and so that it may be established and set there upon its own base.”
