Salmos 41
1Al maestro de coro. Maskil. De los hijos de Coré. Unto the end. The understanding of the sons of Korah.2Como el ciervo ansía las corrientes de aguas, así mi alma suspira por Ti, oh Dios, As the deer longs for fountains of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.3porque mi alma tiene sed de Dios, del Dios vivo. ¿Cuándo vendré y estaré en la presencia de Dios? My soul has thirsted for the strong living God. When will I draw close and appear before the face of God?4Mis lágrimas se han hecho mi pan de día y de noche, mientras se me dice continuamente: “¿Dónde está tu Dios?” My tears have been my bread, day and night. Meanwhile, it is said to me daily: “Where is your God?”5Me acuerdo -y el recuerdo me parte el alma- de cómo caminaba yo al frente de la noble cohorte hacia la casa de Dios, entre cantares de júbilo y alabanza, en festivo cortejo. These things I have remembered; and my soul within me, I have poured out. For I will cross into the place of the wonderful tabernacle, all the way to the house of God, with a voice of exultation and confession, the sound of feasting.6¿Por qué estás afligida, alma mía, y te conturbas dentro de mí? Espera en Dios, pues aún he de alabar al que es mi salvación, mi Dios. Why are you sad, my soul? And why do you disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still confess to him: the salvation of my countenance,7Desfallece en mi interior mi alma, cuando de Ti me acuerdo; desde la lejana tierra del Jordán y del Hermón, desde la colina de Misar. and my God. My soul has been troubled within myself. Because of this, I will remember you from the land of the Jordan and from Hermon, from the little mountain.8Como, en el estruendo de tus cataratas, un abismo llama a otro abismo, así todas tus ráfagas y tus olas pasan sobre mí. Abyss calls upon abyss, with the voice of your floodgate. All your heights and your waves have passed over me.9De día gimo: “Mande Yahvé su gracia”, y de noche entono un cántico, la plegaria al Dios de mi vida. In the daylight, the Lord has ordered his mercy; and in the night, a canticle to him. With me is a prayer to the God of my life.10Digo a Dios: “Roca mía, ¿por qué me has olvidado, por qué he de andar afligido, bajo la opresión de mis enemigos?” I will say to God, “You are my supporter. Why have you forgotten me? And why do I walk in mourning, while my adversary afflicts me?”11Mis huesos se quebrantan cuando mis adversarios me hacen burla, diciendo uno y otro día: “¿Dónde está tu Dios?” While my bones are being broken, my enemies, who trouble me, have reproached me. Meanwhile, they say to me every single day, “Where is your God?”12¿Por qué estás afligida, alma mía, y te conturbas dentro de mí? Espera en Dios, pues aún he de alabar al que es mi salvación, mi Dios. My soul, why are you saddened? And why do you disquiet me? Hope in God, for I will still confess to him: the salvation of my countenance and my God.
