Salmos 52
1Al maestro de coro. Según Mahalat. Maskil de David. Unto the end. For Mahalath: the thoughts of David. The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”2El insensato dice en su corazón: “No hay Dios.” Se han pervertido; su conducta es abominable; ni uno solo obra bien. They were corrupted, and they became abominable with iniquities. There is no one who does good.3Yahvé mira desde el cielo a los hijos de los hombres, para ver si hay quien sea inteligente y busque a Dios. God gazed down from heaven on the sons of men, to see if there were any who were considering or seeking God.4Pero se han extraviado todos juntos y todos se han depravado. No hay uno que obre el bien, ni uno siquiera. All have gone astray; together they have become useless. There is no one who does good; there is not even one.5¡Nunca entenderán esos malhechores, que devoran a mi pueblo, como comen pan, sin cuidarse de Dios para nada! Will they never learn: all those who work iniquity, who devour my people like a meal of bread?6He aquí que tiemblan de miedo donde no hay que temer; porque Dios ha dispersado los huesos de los que te esquilmaban; están desconcertados porque Dios los rechazó. They have not called upon God. In that place, they have trembled in fear, where there was no fear. For God has scattered the bones of those who please men. They have been confounded, because God has spurned them.7¡Oh, venga ya de Sión la salud de Israel! Cuando Yahvé cambie la suerte de su pueblo, saltará de gozo Jacob, e Israel de alegría. Who will grant from Zion the salvation of Israel? Jacob will exult, when God will convert the captivity of his people; and Israel will rejoice.
