1Al maestro de coro. Según Iditún. Salmo de David. Unto the end. For Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.2Solo en Dios se descansa, oh alma mía, porque la salud viene de Él. Will my soul not be subject to God? For from him is my salvation.3Él solo es mi roca, mi salvación, mi defensa: nunca seré conmovido. Yes, he himself is my God and my salvation. He is my supporter; I will be moved no more.4¿Hasta cuándo acometeréis a un solo hombre, queriendo todos derribarlo, como muro inclinado, como pared que se desploma? How is it that you rush against a man? Every one of you puts to death, as if you were pulling down a ruined wall, leaning over and falling apart.5De su lugar excelso intentan despeñarle, ellos, que se deleitan con la mentira; bendicen con su boca, y en su corazón maldicen. So, truly, they intended to reject my price. I ran in thirst. They blessed with their mouth and cursed with their heart.6Solo en Dios se descansa, oh alma mía, porque la salud viene de Él. Yet, truly, my soul will be subject to God. For from him is my patience.7Él solo es mi roca, mi salvación, mi defensa; nunca seré conmovido. For he is my God and my Savior. He is my helper; I will not be expelled.8En Dios está mi salud y mi gloria; mi firme roca y mi refugio es Dios. In God is my salvation and my glory. He is the God of my help, and my hope is in God.9Oh pueblo, espera en Él en todo tiempo; en su presencia derramad vuestros corazones, porque Dios es para nosotros el amparo. All peoples gathered together: trust in him. Pour out your hearts in his sight. God is our helper for eternity.10Los hijos de los hombres no son más que un soplo; los poderosos, una mentira; puestos en la balanza suben alto; porque todos juntos pesan menos que el aire. So, truly, the sons of men are untrustworthy. The sons of men are liars in the scales, so that, by emptiness, they may deceive among themselves.11No confiéis en la violencia, ni os gloriéis en la rapiña. Si vuestras riquezas aumentan, no pongáis en ellas el corazón. Do not trust in iniquity, and do not desire plunder. If riches flow toward you, do not be willing to set your heart on them.12Una cosa dijo Dios, y otra segunda le oí: God has spoken once. I have heard two things: that power belongs to God,13que el poder es de Dios, y la gracia, oh Señor, es tuya. Porque Tú recompensas a cada uno según sus obras. and that mercy belongs to you, O Lord. For you will repay each one according to his works.
