Salmos 62
1Salmo de David. Mientras vagaba por el desierto de Judá. A Psalm of David, when he was in the desert of Idumea.2Oh Dios, Tú eres el Dios mío, a Ti te busco ansioso; mi alma tiene sed de Ti, y mi carne sin Ti languidece, como (esta) tierra árida y yerma, falta de agua. O God, my God: to you, I keep vigil until first light. For you, my soul has thirsted, to you my body, in so many ways.3Así vuelvo mis ojos hacia Ti en el santuario, para contemplar tu poder y tu gloria; By a deserted land, both inaccessible and waterless, so I have appeared in the sanctuary before you, in order to behold your virtue and your glory.4porque tu gracia vale más que la vida, por eso mis labios te alabarán. For your mercy is better than life itself. It is you my lips will praise.5Así te bendeciré toda mi vida y hacia tu Nombre levantaré mis manos. So will I bless you in my life, and I will lift up my hands in your name.6Mi alma quedará saciada como de médula y gordura, y mi boca te celebrará con labios de exultación, Let my soul be filled, as if with marrow and fatness; and my mouth will give praise with exultant lips.7cada vez que me acuerde de Ti en mi lecho y en mis insomnios medite sobre Ti; When I have remembered you on my bed in the morning, I will meditate on you.8porque en verdad Tú te hiciste mi amparo, y a la sombra de tus alas me siento feliz. For you have been my helper. And I will exult under the cover of your wings.9Si mi alma se adhiere a Ti, tu diestra me sustenta. My soul has clung close to you. Your right hand has supported me.10Los que quieren quitarme la vida caerán en lo profundo de la tierra. Truly, these ones have sought my soul in vain. They will enter into the lower parts of the earth.11Serán entregados al poder de la espada, y formarán la porción de los chacales, They will be delivered into the hand of the sword. They will be the portions of foxes.12en tanto que el rey se alegrará en Dios y se gloriará todo el que jura por Él; pues será cerrada la boca a los que hablan iniquidad. Truly, the king will rejoice in God: all those who swear by him will be praised, because the mouth of those who speak iniquity has been blocked.
