Salmos 71
1Para Salomón. Oh Dios, entrega al Rey tu juicio, y tu justicia al Hijo del Rey; A Psalm according to Solomon.2para que Él gobierne a tu pueblo con justicia, y a los humildes tuyos con equidad. Give your judgment, O God, to the king, and your justice to the king’s son, to judge your people with justice and your poor with judgment.3Los montes traerán al pueblo la paz; y los collados, la justicia. Let the mountains take up peace for the people, and the hills, justice.4Él defenderá a los humildes del pueblo, Él salvará a los hijos de los pobres, y aplastará al opresor. He will judge the poor of the people, and he will bring salvation to the sons of the poor. And he will humble the false accuser.5Permanecerá como el sol, y como la luna, de generación en generación. And he will remain, with the sun and before the moon, from generation to generation.6Descenderá, como lluvia, sobre el prado segado, como las aguas que riegan la tierra. He will descend like rain upon fleece, and like showers showering upon the earth.7En sus días florecerá la justicia, y abundará la paz mientras dure la luna. In his days, justice will rise like the sun, with abundance of peace, until the moon is taken away.8Y Él dominará de mar a mar, y desde el Río hasta los confines de la tierra. And he will rule from sea to sea and from the river to the limits of the whole world.9Ante Él se prosternarán sus enemigos, y sus adversarios lamerán el polvo. In his sight, the Ethiopians will fall prostrate, and his enemies will lick the ground.10Los reyes de Tarsis y de las islas le ofrecerán tributos; los reyes de Arabia y de Sabá le traerán presentes. The kings of Tarshish and the islands will offer gifts. The kings of Arabia and of Seba will bring gifts.11Y lo adorarán los reyes todos de la tierra; todas las naciones le servirán. And all the kings of the earth shall adore him. All nations will serve him.12Pues Él librará al que clama desvalido, y al mísero que no tiene amparo. For he will free the poor from the powerful, and the poor one who has no helper.13Se compadecerá del necesitado y del pobre, y a los indigentes salvará la vida, He will spare the poor and the indigent, and he will bring salvation to the souls of the poor.14los libertará del daño y de la opresión, y la sangre de ellos será preciosa a sus ojos. He will redeem their souls from usuries and from iniquity, and their names shall be honorable in his sight.15Por eso vivirá; y le darán del oro de Arabia, orarán siempre a causa de Él; sin cesar le bendecirán. And he will live, and to him will be given from the gold of Arabia, and by him they will always adore. They will bless him all day long.16Habrá abundancia de trigo en la tierra; en las cumbres de los montes ondeará su fruto como el Líbano; y florecerán los habitantes de las ciudades como la grama del campo. And there will be a firmament on earth, at the summits of mountains: its fruits will be extolled above Lebanon, and those of the city will flourish like the grass of the earth.17Su nombre será para siempre bendito, mientras dure el sol permanecerá el nombre suyo; y serán benditas en Él todas las tribus de la tierra; todas las naciones lo proclamarán bienaventurado. May his name be blessed forever; may his name remain before the sun. And all the tribes of the earth will be blessed in him. All nations will magnify him.18Bendito sea Yahvé, Dios de Israel, único que hace maravillas; Blessed is the Lord, God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.19y bendito sea por siempre su glorioso Nombre; llénese de su gloria toda la tierra. ¡Así sea; así sea!
