Coordinates and the modern identification come from the open atlas at OpenBible.info. For regions, peoples and large features there is no identification: the marked point only places the area on the map, and stands for neither a particular site nor its boundaries.

Can you visit it today?

The fertile plain along the north-western shore of the lake, still farmed with bananas and mangoes. At its northern end, at Tabgha, stand the Church of the Multiplication — with its Byzantine mosaic of loaves and fishes before the altar — and the Chapel of the Primacy on a rock at the water’s edge; the Mount of Beatitudes rises on the slope above.

Where it is
Between Magdala and Tabgha, along the north-western shore of the Sea of Galilee.
