Under excavation since 2009: a harbour with a landing stage, streets, fish-salting vats, and a first-century synagogue — one of the few predating AD 70 — with a carved stone at its centre representing the Temple. A guesthouse with chapels has been built over the site.
- Where it is
- On the western shore of the Sea of Galilee, about 6 km north of Tiberias.
