1Al maestro de coro. A Iditún. Salmo de Asaf. Unto the end. For Jeduthun. A Psalm of Asaph.2Mi voz sube hacia Dios y clama; mi voz va hasta Dios para que me oiga. I cried out to the Lord with my voice, to God with my voice, and he attended to me.3En el día de mi angustia busco al Señor; de noche, mis manos se extienden sin descanso, y mi alma rehúsa el consuelo. In the days of my tribulation, I sought God, with my hands opposite him in the night, and I was not deceived. My soul refused to be consoled.4Si pienso en Dios tengo que gemir; si cavilo, mi espíritu desfallece. I was mindful of God, and I was delighted, and I was distressed, and my spirit fell away.5Tú mantienes insomnes mis ojos; estoy perturbado, incapaz de hablar. My eyes anticipated the vigils. I was disturbed, and I did not speak.6Pienso en los días antiguos y considero los años eternos. I considered the days of antiquity, and I held the years of eternity in my mind.7Por la noche medito en mi corazón, reflexiono y mi espíritu inquiere: And I meditated in the night with my heart, and I was distressed, and I examined my spirit.8¿Es que nos desechará el Señor por todos los siglos? ¿No volverá a sernos favorable? So then, will God reject for eternity? Will he not continue to allow himself to show favor?9¿Se habrá agotado para siempre su bondad? ¿Será vana su promesa hecha para todas las generaciones? Or, will he cut off his mercy in the end, from generation to generation?10¿Se habrá olvidado Dios de su clemencia? o ¿en su ira habrá contenido su misericordia? And would God ever forget to be merciful? Or, would he, in his wrath, restrict his mercies?11Y dije: “Este es mi dolor: que la diestra del Altísimo haya cambiado.” And I said, “Now I have begun. This change is from the right hand of the Most High.”12Recordaré los hechos de Yahvé; sí, me acuerdo de tus antiguas maravillas; I was mindful of the works of the Lord. For I will be mindful from the beginning of your wonders,13medito todas tus obras y peso tus hazañas. and I will meditate on all your works. And I will take part in your intentions.14Santo es tu camino, oh Dios, ¿Qué Dios hay tan grande como el Dios nuestro? Your way, O God, is in what is holy. Which God is great like our God?15Tú eres el Dios que obra prodigios, y has dado a conocer a los pueblos tu poder. You are the God who performs miracles. You have made your virtue known among the peoples.16Redimiste con tu brazo a tu pueblo, a los hijos de Jacob y de José. With your arm, you have redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and of Joseph.17Las aguas te vieron, oh Dios, te vieron las aguas, y temblaron; hasta los abismos se estremecieron. The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you, and they were afraid, and the depths were stirred up.18Aguas derramaron las nubes, los cielos hicieron oír su voz, y volaron tus dardos. Great was the sound of the waters. The clouds uttered a voice. For your arrows also pass by.19Tu trueno sonó en el torbellino, los relámpagos iluminaron el mundo; se conmovió y tembló la tierra. The voice of your thunder is like a wheel. Your flashes have illuminated the whole world. The earth has quaked and trembled.20Tu camino se abrió a través del mar, y tus sendas sobre inmensas aguas, sin que aparecieran las huellas de tus pisadas. Your way is through the sea, and your paths are through many waters. And your traces will not be known.21Y Tú mismo guiaste a tu pueblo como un rebaño, por mano de Moisés y de Aarón. You have conducted your people like sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
